I have changed my review to 1 star. SAVE your money and shop somewhere else. These guys will pay you the bare minimum for an item to pawn and then try and sell it for near new price. I was looking at a Framing nail gun priced at $210(heavily used) On sale for $105. I offered $105 tax in and was refused. I had been in several times looking and found that gun there each time. Now that I left a review based on my last visit. I got a response. I called back today to speak with the respondent and was told (rudely) to call the other store because I called the wrong store. I didn't . When I told him my review was on this store. We had a discussion about the item amd he tried to tell me the itam sold. I call B.S. I will spend my money on a new item with warranty and stay far away from this rip off.

This is the only place I go to for getting a good price for pawns really accomidating!! As for customer service they have a Awsome group of staff people and always good for putting a smile on ur face. Very clean and good deals in the shop. Thanks for the service they provide for us all. Cheers

My friend and I took out a loan with Common Exchange on Newton and were greeted with a smiling , friendly lady on staff.i have dealt with Common Exchange over the years and will continue too do so.Thanks so much!

If I could give 0 stars I would, offered me 15% (135$) on about a thousand dollars worth of stuff but up the road I could get a hundred for 2 of 3 things I have to pawn.. not worth your time

Took my gold necklace in to see what they would offer me.. but when he was weighting it with his back turned to me he also scratched it to test it! I know he's got to test the gold but there is other ways of doing that.. the way they test your gold will damage YOUR item not theirs

Very respectful and accommodating staff. Having family working in the front lines (healthcare) it is nice to know that even pawn shops are taking the precautions for their safety and the safety of the customer.

Knowingly sold me a counterfeit Ibanez Gem guitar, which is technically illegal, and wouldn't give me a refund only store purchase value. Be careful buying from this shop.

Can't say enough good things about these guys, I moved out of town and STILL come into town to use amd re use this store. Since day one they have gone above and behond for our family's needs. Fees are crazy reasonable, you can pay your tickets via Online with ease, Always A+ in customer service, have no issue breaking down my stuff into multiple loans so it's lower cost to get them out, ( ie: bring in $2-300 of gold and instead of 1 large pawn the will break down each piece needed to make 2 or 3 loans) and do this with a smile. Never making me feel rushed or like im an inconvenientce..never mind they give a week grace period, WOW! Just a few of the things they have done over the years for us. Times Iv been in the worst mood gone in and totally turned my day around with the conversation had with the great team of employees. This company goes above and behond to make their Customers feel welcomed and appreciated amd for that I will always use Common Exchange Whalley.Thank you guys for all you do. KeepUp the good work. It's not going unnoticed.

They are the worst place to ever do business with, they tell you with a smile : there's nothing they can do for you.. after I pawned very sentimental jewelry (it was emergency)and tried to get it back via e-transfer that day (which is immediate)and even asked for three days grace, which they refused.. this after having to travel from Maple ridge to surrey due to the store closing in ridge and all the merchandise being sent to surrey..and not being notified about this.. I am devastated and ashamed I did this and now lost it all.. I had the funds and ready to pay my loan and get my items out.. they made it impossible. Very heartless evil business. Never again.
