Had dim sum here over the weekend...didn't have to wait and many tables available even on Saturday late morning. Ordered the usual dim sum dishes (shrimp dumplings, beef rice rolls, salad and shrimp tart, pan fried turnip cake). They were good and nothing bad or special about them. The chicken feet was rather small and tasted so-so...didn't look too fresh but wasn't bad or anything. Got the deep fried pork dumplings as well...tasty but too much oil and doughy. Also ordered the beef stomach/tendon..also on the smaller side and basically similar sauce to chicken feet. Service was good and restaurant looked clean. Didn't like how the tables were so close too each other...barely any elbow room between the smaller tables. The price was on the more expensive side...8 dishes and amounted to $90 or so.

Different restaurants have different evaluations as the culture behind is different(ie equity), for a traditional dim sum place, it’s likely that you overestimate how much service you can get and underestimate how delicious the food is. And this is one of those places, the food was simply great and yummy. And the only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because there are too much protein than I expected in a single piece of vege…( vegetables are hard to wash, but 4 bugs are just too many lol)

Royal Seafood Restaurant
This is a Dim Sum / Seafood Restaurant that is really close by my home, situated in the Blundell Shopping Centre, there are ample free parking available.Food here is pure Cantonese with a few Szechuan dishes here and there to spice things up. Their dim sums are all cooked to order and very high in quality! Service is above average over most Chinese restaurants of the same caliber.

The food taste was good, but one server kept telling me to order the duck . I told her no and she kept repeating it. My friend put the tips on the table so when I was paying I just need to pay for the food.And then another server asking me ‘ did you give the tips yet? ‘ and clearly we put the tips on the table.I asked them ‘ so we have to give tips in here ?And they said ‘ Yes ‘So next time if I have enough money only to pay for the food I can’t come here because I don’t have for the tips.They said ‘ yes’I think it’s will be the last time I’m going there unless if I’m being rich so I can give them tips.

Good variety of dim sum option, tastes are good, however, quite pricey, an vegetarian dish is almost 15 dollars. A bit on the expensive side. For a party of 7, we spent about 240cad. The service is great, they are all very friendly.

On weekdays if you dine before 11am there’s a discount but we were here on a Saturday morning so sadly no discount and it’s $1.50 a person for tea.There are certainly better places for dimsum but at least they offer all your traditional dimsum dishes. I had to add hot sauce to give the shrimp dumpling more flavour.. otherwise it was fairly bland tasting.One let down was that the XLB were steamed close together so when trying to grab with the chopsticks, it would puncture the wrapping and all the soup escaped. Not only this, but the meat filling was subpar. Overall, the dishes could be seasoned better.

I had my banquet wedding reception here yesterday. I must say the service was exceptional! I got my refills when I wanted. The dishes served promptly and according to schedule. My guests were very happy with the service as well, they got their drinks at the bar when they asked for it, and overall great service. They hire top waiters and waitresses I've seen before at top restaurants.The layout of the restaurant was perfect! very spacious, enough to fit all my guests. Very good lighting and Audio Visual. They have hard wood so I was able to have a dance floor with my own custom playlist! The place was so nice I didn't even had to do bring or setup my own decor.Food was top notch. I was able to modify my set menu to what I wanted. Every dish that came out was extremely delicious and unique. My guests told me how they loved the food so much.I would highly recommend this place to others for their wedding reception.

Place was very clean staff was super friendly. The dim sum was really good every dish was unique and tasty the turtle buns were my favourite. I am very satisfied with my visit and I definitely plan on going back!
