My experience with Davine was somewhat horrible I feel like it was because I was on legal aid when she was retained.Davine’s communication was below poor until she needed something at which point she wanted you to move faster than a bullet with prompt deadlines. Davine went MIA on countless occasions for months at a time and didn’t return emails or phone calls.She often advises that legal aid money is short and suggests that you the “client” do most of the clerical work yet charges legal aid full as if she put in all the time to begin with.Her last disappearance went on for months after a court date which delayed my next appearance deep into the year and she went completely radio silent on me.I thought it might have been because of covid but having to move on with my custody case I called legal aid for a lawyer switch given the circumstances only to find out that she was still actively billing legal aid for services all while ghosting me.She has no respect for persons on legal aid in and in my opinion for cases where “Men” are looking for assistance. She takes to making you believe that men don’t have a chance and that you should bend over and take whatever the court and the other party wants to shove your way and you see it in her efforts to assist.I would probably aim elsewhere if you have a legal aid certificate.To add insult to injury, she sent me an email last month titled “Favour to ask” and asked if I had an Amazon account????Mind you, this is after I canceled her retainer and cut ties with her.

Davine saved my family. She was pleasant, patient and attentive at all times with me, and an absolute boss in the courtroom. My situation was extremely messy. Other lawyers said I did not stand a chance ; she made it happen. Got me exactly what I wanted. Could not recommend a lawyer more highly.

Best lawyer ever. First time meeting she won me by caring about my daughter and making sure my desicions were what was best for my daughter not revenge. If i ever need a family law lawyer she's my first call

Great person/ lawyer. Had a lot of patients with me through my difficult time. Got the results that was in the best interest of my daughter. Highly recommend Davine.
