Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Whitby - North

Farheen and her team are amazing mentors. My girls have been with their education facility for the last 5years and experienced many successes. My eldest daughter has an IEP in the DDSB and struggles greatly with English skills, Kumon has given her incredible confidence to build skills that are very challenging for her. She finished the English program and was so proud of herself. Both girls have emensly surpassed their peers in Math, this is a direct compliment to their work completed with Kumon. My kids are going to this kumon from last 2 years .In bigning they were learning alot but now they are not excited for kumon anymore especially during Covid they don't like this online learning.staff always very nice specialy if farheen teaching they love it.but I think they need more improvement if kid need help my kids hesitate to ask for help I don't know why is that but it's only in kumon not in school or anywhere else. Also in higher levels they need more clear concepts in math and in language my daughter always ask me why we doing same thing again doesn't make sense to me?why we doing these?

My child has been attending Kumon since the age of 4 and this year will mark 7 years with Farheen and her team. They have helped my child improve in both Math and English over the years. Each year my child's school teachers comment on how they pick up the work very quickly...this could not be possible with Farheen! They have been patient with my child and work at their pace. Most importantly they are encouraging and EXCELLENT at communicating any changes or answering questions from the parents.Highly Recommended!

My kids have been going to this centre for 7+ years. The Center is very well managed and professionally run even during the time of Covid restrictions with online classes. Not many kids enjoy math but the kumon way of practice and repetitions does make a difference and brings confidence.

It's friendly for kid and you earn rewards.

I personally like the service of al the people here. Online and in person. They are always kind. For my two kids this program has work. You should try it first, and then see if it is the right program for your kids.

Had an appointment for my two kids. Arrived 20 min early to get all the paperwork done. Spoke to a teenager. Most employees there are teenagers. Waited 30 min then spoke to the front desk. He was seen speaking to an individual then came back to tell me he will be with me soon. Sat another 20 min at this time it 2:30pm. Went to get freezes for my kids and came back. At 2:45pm he was still busy and they close at 3:00pm. So at this point I could see the environment was disorganized and no one really cared. So I realized it’s just a money grab and no real care for the kids. From my observation all the kids were giving work and left on there own till they raised there hands and one of the teenagers would come over. With everything for kids here is all about using the kids for money gain. Really got me angry how kids are used. Terrible customer service at this location. And no proper staffing. Would not recommend at all.

Have been sending my kid since 2.5 years.his speed has improved a lot.I like the opportunity to learn from home via zoom even better than in person.For a couple of months when the Center was closed the worksheets were delivered at our doorstep,I was really impressed by the professionalism.
