The Ranch 2.0 Bar & Grill

After my experience this past weekend, I would strongly encourage people to completely avoid this place at all costs. The bouncers are WAY too rough, and were clearly putting on a show to make themselves look tough and powerful. While standing in line about to enter, four bouncers were manhandling (not “escorting”) an incredibly intoxicated woman out of the bar. Following that, the same four bouncers aggressively dragged a friend of mine out of the line (after paying the cover, I might add) for being “too intoxicated to enter”. They took the cover charge for six of us, THEN deemed one of us unfit to enter…absolute scam! Then to make matters worse, they didn’t just kick my friend out, they threw him up against the entry door, one of the bouncers smushed their hand into his face, and they all just held him there while he stood still, not fighting or doing anything. Trying to get him out of there as they wouldn’t let him go, my other girlfriend was then promptly thrown to the ground after approaching them. The part I take the most issue with, however, is the way they handled the stranger I first saw thrown out. She was so drunk she couldn’t speak, and she was sobbing uncontrollably. I tried assisting her, but she was slurring her words so badly I couldn’t understand her. I asked the one bouncer who was standing guard at the door to please call her a cab or get her friends out to help her. He refused and said she had to call a cab herself…when she can’t even speak. This bar either allowed this girl to enter while already that intoxicated (which is one of their rules they so prominently display at the entrance), or more likely, severely over served her and then threw her out for being too drunk (by their hand). They’ll take your money and ply you with liquor until you’re just too much of a liability to be worth the income I guess.

It was my first time at the bar, loved it, liked to come more often, but living in Toronto is tricky. Highly recommend The Ranch 2.0 good environment, friendly staff, very large space. For me it will be the best country bar I have ever had of the 3 I know.

Main gripes: The womens washroom only has ONE hand blowdryer, and no paper towel option.The genre kept switching song after song, was pretty inconsistent. You’d get edm then country then classic rock, then top 50s. It was weird, the transitions weren’t very smooth.Otherwise had a pretty good time for my first ever club visit. Price to get in wasn’t unreasonable.

I'm from The Bahamas but I came to Canada to visit my best friend and her Husband for Halloween Weekend Fun, we checked into The Ranch and had a blast. I had to get used to some of the music coming from The Caribbean but overall it was a great experience and I'd definitely go again and bring friends. #enjoylife

Honestly…. Could be so much better. Fun Amazing space, great location, amazing music. Has the ability to be the GOAT…. However…. Bathrooms are disgusting and broken, having to hold the door closed with my foot sucks. Friendly accurate bar staff but Bar is Downstaffed and slow, Waiting 20+min for a drink is insane. Post covid I thought it would be better.

Horrible place, wouldn’t let me in for 0 reason had maybe 2 drinks before hand which is pretty normal for going clubbing. Again wouldn’t explain why, I’ve never had a problem at this place before and they just randomly decided to not let me in definitely don’t recommend planning on going as a plan because of the inconsistency

Got turned and was told an old stain on my sweeter was so bad they couldn’t let me in. Make sure your clothes are brand new never worn before getting in line. It’s a country bar, but apparently country guys can’t go. Drove an hour and a half for this disappointment.

We got turned away because my boyfriend was wearing sweat pants… AFTER they had already patted him down …. What a joke. Would never go back!!!!
