Even Dance

Very disappointed in the way this studio the owner and the teachers treated my family and my daughter, left her in so much distress and tears over a simple moving date change, denying her a spot in the recital when she hadn’t missed any classes and wouldn’t miss any classes.. There was absolutely no good reason for breaking my little girls heart this studio should be absolutely ashamed of their actions…

My daughter has been attending Even Dance since she was 3 and loves it. Her confidence has grown so much over the last 7 years. We are so glad we choose Even Dance. They have flourished my daughter's love of dance. Miss Eve and Miss Sarah and all the instructors are the best to deal with! Highly recommended!

Even dance took my daughter in when another popular studio said she wasn’t up to par for her age (7) in a non-competitive class knowing my child has some physical challenges. Even accepted her with open arms and the 4 yrs we’ve been with the studio, she has progressed physically and with confidence thanks to her teachers (Eve, Alaina, Candace and now Bailey). Very grateful this studio welcomes all abilities and produces positive students who are kind and supportive.

My daughter has attended since she was 2. Her confidence and self esteem has grown so much. It's a place to enjoy and be yourself. Thank you for everything you do Ms Eve and staff.

As someone who has international experience teaching hundreds of children across Canada and has past students who dance professionally, I am appalled by the discrimination, lack of ethics and cruelty demonstrated by this studio's director and her employees towards an 8 year old who only wanted to dance. After traveling 3 hours every Saturday to be at this studio, missing no lessons and pre paying for all fees, this studio thought it acceptable break a child's heart for no logical reason. How unimaginative and inflexible must you be to not be able to find even a small place for this child in your recital with still so many weeks to go before the performances? This child and her family fulfilled their commitment completely and you all failed her in the worst way. This shameful behavior has been reported to the City of Penticton. If any parents read this to determine where to take their child for dance - choose better than we did and go elsewhere!
