Steps Dance Studio

Excellent classes. Big fan of Heather and Kevin as I usually take most of their classes.I’ve heard other instructors are knowledgeable as well. Would recommend 100%

Did a month of classes in the fall and did not enjoy this studio at all. They actually started taking the fun out of dancing for me. The classes are too full, there's no carryover between classes, the instructors don't go around giving you personalised feedback. The instructors over instruct and over teach, they will spend about 50% of the time explaining, 25% demonstrating and only give you 25% of the time to practice. They don't let you get into a rhythm, constantly changing partners, constantly stop and go. Plus the floors are falling apart and held together by duct tape, which cause trips. Overall was not an enjoyable experience. The teachers are obviously quite talented, but the experience as a student was a let down.

Mirrors cracked, shards falling on the floor, and not even an attempt to secure it after weeks. The floor is falling apart, its actually quite dangerous. There's windows that don't close and make the place unbearably cold. Floors are dirty!! Staff turns up the heat when their shift starts and turn it down when they leave. Too many homeless wanderers in stairwell. Doesn't smell too great either. There's maybe two decent spaces but the rest are lacking. I can't speak to the quality of dance instruction though, my school rented the space for the last few months with our own dance teacher. just look at it. One and a half stars.

Great place to learn salsa and bachata I took about 27 classes during the first time $60/mo unlimited classes and it was well worth it. Even though I only took level 1 classes every class I learned something new and had fun. The instructors were amazing I took lessons with a few different ones. All were amazing in their own way and if I lived closer to the studio I would definitely continue to go. I can see why people in the higher level classes have made friendships there.

If you wanna learn how to dance but feel that you look like Elaine from Seinfeld when you're on the dance floor then this place is where you wanna go. Every teacher I came across in every class was kind, patient, fun and observant. I genuinely look forward to going salsa class whenever I can! You all do a fantastic job in providing a warm and inviting environment for people to be comfortable and learn how to move and shake to the music.

I like the place and people very much. Taking salsa and bachata classes and instructors are amazing, specially Heather. Learning new moves and tricks every session! The fact that you can just start at any time and there is no deadline and start/end point is great! eliminates excuses to procrastinate :)

I recently started taking bachata and salsa classes at this dance studio and I am so impressed with the quality of instruction and the welcoming atmosphere. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, and they do an excellent job of breaking down the steps and making sure everyone feels comfortable and confident on the dance floor.I recommend all the instructors, especially Heather! They are all very welcoming and supportive, so whether you're a beginner or an advanced dancer, there's something for everyone.Overall, I highly recommend this bachata dance studio to anyone looking to improve their skills, meet new people, and have fun dancing!

I absolutely love this place. The energy, the people, the instructors.. it's an incredible community to be a part. Each time I go it leaves me wanting more. I'm only in level one and typically get Ernesto and/or Heather and they're great teachers to learn from! Very attentiveIt's always busy, there is a tonne of people coming in and out of there but that is alllll a part of the fun. Everyone is smiling and having a great time - it's so easy to make new friends there.Highly recommended!

First place where I learned how to dance salsa and bachata. After a year of being part of the studio, it feels like a second home now. The teachers are all friendly, dedicated, inspiring and will always be ready to help out or answer questions if you have any. The students are also extremely encouraging and outgoing.
