Honest and thorough job down by Shawn. We live in an old 1800's row house in Toronto and Shawn was not discouraged by this job. He installed our AC after coming to give us an estimate and giving us our options. We felt the quote was very reasonable and the job was done in a timely manner and more importantly done right. This was key as there was a heat wave the next week. I would highly recommend Shawn and his company to anyone.

When you are looking for someone who will make a difference, than I would recommend Shawn and the people of Bassett Mechanical. Shawn immediately took the worry of the problem out of my hands and delivered a service second to none. He was neat, professional and above all else conscientious. To come on a Sunday and fix a gas leak so quickly was much appreciated. He never hurried and took the time to converse as well as explain the problem and the solution. If you need something fixed for Natural gas or any of your HVAC needs, I would give this company 5 stars. Thank you Shawn

I'm so glad I found Bassett Mechanical! It's been years since I've had an HVAC guy I can trust, and Shawn is now my go-to guy! I even sent him to my Grandmother's house -- which says a lot about how much my family trusts him to get the job done.

Terrific to communicate with. Quote was fair and done promptly. Installation was done in 1 day on the day promised. Final price didn't differ from quote.After the installation was complete I had a few questions and he returned to my house after I called him... on a Sunday night!Fantastic customer service, I wasn't expecting a Sunday visit and I doubt you'd get that from many other companies.I would 100% use Shawn again for a job on my home.

Basset Mechanical ( Shawn) stepped in and fixed an issue with our gas fireplace, which the original Company whom the gas fireplace was purchased from completely disregarded our concerns. Shawn clearly explained the problem we were encountering, and fixed it on the spot. Thereafter, I asked if he could also check our furnace for any issues, which he did and, no additional service work was required.It was a pleasure to deal with a Company that respects ther commitment to being on time for an appointment, explains the work required to be done, and does the work to the customer's satisfaction.Shawn will now have our future Fireplace, Furnace and AC Maintenance work.Thanks Shawn, great work and for being a good person to deal with.
