I went to the Vaughan location and although the jerk chicken sandwich in the patty with the coco bread was good, we had the oxtail which was not freshly cooked. It had way too much bay leaves and the gravy was too long; but overall the oxtail was not freshly made. I would not recommend it.

I was hunting for a quick Jerk Chicken spot and I found Allwyn's. I tried their Jerk Chicken sandwich I like a lot. It had good portions. Chicken was fresh and not chewy. Coleslaw was amazing. I enjoyed it a lot.Since I am a university student, it was a little pricey for me as I usually grab lunch specials in Mississauga, where I live, for cheaper.Thank you Patricia for your kind and amazing hospitality and I'll be sure to come back when possible.

I have seen reviews about Allwyns and wanted to try it. I got the jerk pork sandwich and the jerk chicken with rice and peas. The total came out to $18, and to be honest that is super pricey. The super small container or rice and peas was $9.25, and the jerk pork sandwich was around $6.The jerk pork sandwich was fairly tasty with a lot of pork, but the paper bag it came in fell apart while I was eating it (within 2-3 minutes) and all the sauce poured onto my work pants!! Overall the sandwich was pretty good, but maybe they should take it easy on the sauce or change the paper bag it comes in to something that lasts more than 2 minutes!!!!The jerk pork with rice and peas was delicious and had no bones. My issue with this is the price. For basically the same price, I go to a place down the street that serves a portion twice as large and also has mac salad!Realistically I believe this place deserves 2.5 stars, but I rounded up to 3.TL;dr: tasty but overpriced.

Fast and friendly service with delicious food! The jerk chicken is fantastic paired with rice 'n pease and coleslaw. The patties are next level also! Love the spice and flavour. Be sure to try the stuffed patty sandwich. Coco bread, slaw, jerk chicken and a patty. Entire meal for under $10. If you order a box of patties, you are given the choice of cold or warmed up. Makes for great travel.(Warning, patties may not make it home to the family if they are warmed up in your car as the smell is intoxicating)

I purchased a chicken patty and coco bread, it was about $4. I was truly underwhelmed, the patty was ok, the coco bread did not seem fresh. I wouldn’t recommend this place or return. I visited the Scarborough location as well and got Jerk Chicken and Pork sandwiches and feel the same, I’m in no rush to buy food there again, the food is ok. As a Jamaican, I’d say good effort for non Jamaicans selling Jamaican food, but if you’re looking for more authentic Jamaican food this is not the place.

Heard a lot about the Allwyn’s name, so I was excited to try them out. Not impressed. Dark on the inside, not the cleanest spot. Prices were ok, but I was mainly disappointed with the food. No seasoning whatsoever, just tasted pimiento through out the food. Rice and peas were garbage too. Sorry Allwyn’s you let me down, sad to say I won’t be back.

Newest opening of the Allywn's Bakery Franchise. Plenty of parking. Didn't have to wait long. Food was prepared very quickly. Got a jerk chicken sandwich and spicy patty plus a pineapple soda. Solid restaurant. Will return.

Heard about them finally tried and yup, Jerk chicken is really fresh and good! Try their stuffed sandwich and Oxtail. It's worth it! So definitely go back and definitely recommend to ya'll!

Not sure where the hype is coming from. Their spicy" patties are SWEET if anything. Not a great taste. The filling is low for the size of the patty
