Student Works Painting

Got my deck done, lasted 3 years so far. That's pretty good for a deck.

Not a great experience. Took three weeks just to get a quote. Was told it would take 1-3 days to paint. Ended up taking 7. The student I had promised a lot of things that never happened. He said he would do things (for free) verbally but didn’t write them in the quote / contract, therefore when they weren’t done and I confronted him about it he told me he needed more money and that he had “never had an issue like this.” I thought he was the manager of his team and would be able to solve a simple problem by doing what he said he would in the beginning. Just seemed unprofessional. In the end I paid him the original amount I was quoted and he was on his way.

Finley Dewis and his crew did an excellent job painting our house. They were professional at all times. Finley was skillful and competent. I was very happy with Finley and his crew, they worked hard. Cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them.We have had many compliments on the paint job they did.Thank-you Finley I couldn't be happier.

Finley and his team were professional and personable. The interior painting was excellent ! I would not hesitate to recommended them to anyone requiring interior painting .

Opened the door to my porch/mudroom in order to leave a pamphlet on the inner door of my house. My mailbox is outside. Don’t enter people’s residences without permission.

The team did a great job for us. We received a well-explained estimate, the crew did great work including pressure washing and the shed and deck painting. Our full house exterior needs a refresh and we will definitely use them .

William Hancock at Student Works painters in Victoria BC was willing to work within my budget and was very professional. The entire team that worked on my house were cheerful and calm and safe. I really appreciated that they didn’t blast any music or yell to each other. My house looks great with the new paint job! Thank you.

Student Works Painting was in our neighbourhood a few weeks ago passing out flyers door to door. We decided to go ahead with a quote. Sam called us the next day to set up a time. He arrived on time and was extremely professional and thorough. Sam is only 24 years old, but was one of the most professional businessman we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. His quote was detailed and he walked around the house with us explaining the process. We got two other quotes from painting companies and chose Student Works as we were most impressed with Sam. The price was also the best quote that we received. The team showed up to work and the quality of painting was excellent. Nathaniel, the team leader was informative and kept us in the loop of where they were in the process. The job took six days and we are 100% satisfied with the quality of work and the professionalism of these young men. They were all very polite and very helpful. We highly recommend Sam and his team!

I received a call very quickly when I requested a quote. During the call I acknowledged it was a small job as I am pregnant and do not want to be around paint for long periods of time. I was instructed to text a picture with the measurements, which I did immediately after the call had ended. I never heard back. Nearly a month later, I sent a follow up text stating I never got a response/quote , to which I have yet to receive a reply. Felt as though we were not important because it was a smaller job.

They were very punctual, respectful and lovely to have around. Im supper happy how the job turned out!
