After calling to make sure that we can pay credit card and not cash for an online order (CONSIDERING WE’RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC) the lady nicely confirmed that credit card payments were available. 2 men show up in 2 different cars (bizarre), unannounced, demanding cash... we bought groceries online because we have 2 people in the house between the ages of 60-69, the bracket that is at risk for COVID-19.This was discouraging and upsetting. Can’t believe how frustrating that moment was. Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. ALL employees and business should care about their clients and costumers. NOT COOL.

The good : A wide variety of Italian products with regular specials to save.Really save big on pasta. Olive oil specials too.Produce as in veg and fruits is consistent .The not so goodIt disgusts me how people open a pre packaged bag that has grapes or cherries and take 2 to taste. Not hygenic.Next: the crew who work the coldcuts. My mother was shocked when she got home opened the mortatelle pack and every slice was thicker than an eighth of an inch. Someone needs an espresso?"

I shop there all the time. They have very friendly staff (and they really love babies!). Their manager was super helpful when one of the “on special” items was out of stock. Their italian produces are at very good prices and excellent quality. If you check expiration dates and pick your produce carefully you won’t have any issue.Q

Be VERY CAREFUL when shopping here; the quality of the fruits, vegetables are often not the best, and sometimes even rotten or moldy. Also, be extra careful when it comes to the quality of the meat -- this location has had trouble with the provincial meat inspectors in the past!The pricing in their flyer is also not always honoured properly, nor will they offer a raincheck for items in the weekly sales flyer that are not in stock.I've even had the store manager actually argue and give me a hard time and when I politely pointed out that the meat I was purchasing were supposed to be on sale, as was stated in both the flyer and the shelf signage. Only when I firmly asked him to go check himself, he finally came back and gave his approval to the cashier, but he didn't even bother to apologize to me for his rude behaviour!The cashiers are often inattentive, as they spend too much time chatting amongst themselves and not paying attention to their clients.If you can avoid this place, do so -- it's often not worth the bother as they have seriously gone down in quality and service over the years.

Always fresh fruit and veggies, good quality meat at reasonable prices. Not too expensive but not so cheap either. Needs a little renovation but otherwise a good place to shop.

Sometimes the produce is just not the freshest or nicest. However there are good deals on produce and cheeses. At times Organic produce at half the price of big grocery chains. A wide variety of hard to find multicultural foods abound. They need a bigger selection of craft beers (they have better beers now :-) and it would be a one stop shop.

We moved to the area about 3 months ago and started shopping at this store !! I have read some of these reviews and I would have to disagree with half of these reviews!!! Like every grocery store some stuff goes past date !!! Like a normal person look before you purchases and the world we live in right now to throw away food in the pandemic it’s horrible the cost of food is horrible. Here they try to keep long enough to still be eatable !!! Sorry we have not all grown up with silver spoon in our mouth!!! As for the cashier I can’t remember her name she was a bigger girl but she was amazing and funny and she knew where everything was in the store and the prices of almost everything her partner was was a young mixed girl could have past for her daughter they were both extremely helpful !!! Good selection of cheeses, cold cuts and nuts. Be careful when you buy vegetables though..not always fresh

Purchased potatoes, opened bag several rotten and all had a rotten fishy smell. Returned potatoes no problem cashier was nice (they all are). One star for the old rude produce man in the white coat who has selective hearing. Time to try a new store....someplace friendlier with FRESH food.

Some of your employees dont know how to use a slicer.My zia filomena bought prosciuto mortatella recently. When she opened the pack both were cut too thick. Very dry .Threw them out.You lost a customer.
