Indonesian Kitchen Restaurant
Indonesian Kitchen is an iconic family business, with a great selection of traditional fare. I had the Nasi Kuning with Sate Ayam, Leeper Ayam, BBQ beef ribs and one of the noodle dishes. Everything was delicious and so full of flavor, I have to try more of the menu soon.There's a small selection of specialty Indonesian groceries available too.

This is a very unassuming place. It doesn't look like much. The food is amazing and prices are reasonable. The waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu and helping us place our order. Service was good. Definitely recommend.Also, try the Wonton Soup, it's delicious

One place I never fail to visit in YYC; the best Indonesian food I've had in Canada! A family owned restaurant, very friendly, and always consistent with the quality and quantity. Don't forget to try the chicken satay & Nasi Goreng!

Indonesian Kitchen Restaurant
We went to Indonesian Kitchen for the first time today. The restaurant has a nice decor. The variety of food on the menu was great. We tried the Sop Pangsit, Rendeng, and Nasi Goreng Special. They were spicy to our liking. We found the Rendeng to have a small portion compared to the price ($17). We wanted to have their other famous items, but since they were close to their closing time, they were out of them. We want to try their famous Soto Ayam, Nasi Rames and BBQ meal in the near future.

Indonesian Kitchen Restaurant
Conspicuous on the outside yet a wonderful atmosphere inside - small and cozy, well decorated and also used as a mini market for Indonesian spices and such. Food was ordered for take out on my end (as per covid times). Highly recommend the Soto Ayam soup $9- the taste is extremely unique with its tang and comfort of a noodle broth/soup. The quantity quality ratio is good with the soup. Also ordered the beef rendeng - dense beef and great tasting but it is a little harder to justify the pricing of $17 in a smaller bowl without any rice or items to come with it (around 6 pieces of meat in ).

Great food, strong flavours and a nice place to eat with your loved. Authentic indonesian cuisine with a wide variety of delicious beef items. You have to try Rendang. Beef is slowly roasted over a number of hours. Their Shrimp and chicken rice and noodles are delicious too. A bit pricy though. But you'd be licking your fingers.

This is my first time trying Indonesian food and I had an awesome experience. The waitress was super nice and provided an excellent overview and food recommendations. The beef rendang was very unique and flavorful. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is visiting Calgary.

Indonesian Kitchen Restaurant
2021 update. Flavours are still good, but the portions got reduced drastically, so small that I need to make additional food. Also they forgot 2 dishes in our order of 5. The delivery was also 20 minutes late, so everything was cold. Definitely not ordering from here anymore. The dessert is suppose to come with ice cream, which also never came, but they charge full price.OMG this place is amazing. Super legit Indonesian food. Crazy good flavours, as good as the ones we had in SE Asia. The portions are also very big.
