Dalchini Hakka Chinese Restaurant
For our anniversary this year, my wife and I treated ourselves to Dalchini for an early dinner. Years ago, when we lived in Brampton, Dalchini was in our take out rotation. But since moving north to Orangeville, we're just a little too far for take out. I had forgotten just how much I loved their food. Pleasant, polite, staff, and man, the food. If you haven't tried it before, give them a shot, you won't regret it.Pictured here is our appetizer, chicken pakora, and our entree of Dragon chicken and shrimp Hakka noodles.

Ordered chicken hakka noodles and fish Manchurian. The noodles were good but the chicken tasted horrible with a weird smell. I went back to talk to the front desk staff had to assure them while they were reassuring it's perfect I asked them to taste it but no they won't. Never going back there again. The fish Manchurian was however 3/5 the garlic taste was too dominant. Portion is really large I was amazed to see the size of the hakka noodles but unfortunately wasn't able to eat.

Ordered food through Uber Eats. My bad decision that i ordered without reading reviews. They sent food in a white plastic bag with things toppling on each other. Stir fried veggies were all red hot sauce and in the name of veggies, there were green onions and a bit of broccoli here and there. No salt, no taste, all red hot chilly sauce. Soup was more thinner than water itself. Pictures attached. No napkins, paper towel, spoon or fork and this was delivered at my workplace so I was not not sure if i should use my fingers to eat all this. Luckily my coworker had some extra forks so he gave one to me. Please dont waste your time and money.PS: Owner: Stop advertising falsely on CINA radio and stop misleading people. Is there any way if I can return this food and get my hard-earned money back.Disappointed. PERIOD.

I’ve order many times in the past from them, delivery and takeout.Their restaurants atmosphere is dim lighted and boring, not appeasing to go and eat in.Their food is mediocre, needs more flavour but quantity has always been absolutely great. Lots of food for what you get for the price but the food needs more flavour or seasonings to make it more memorable.Order is Chili Shrimp with Vegetable Noodles and Fried Chicken Wontons, altogether came up to $26 and some change.I recommend to people that want a quick bite but if you’re hosting an event, I don’t recommend. The food needs some tweaking.

I ordered food for the second time and I must say being a restaurant owner I appreciate fresh food, it was tasty and enough for all of us, chili chicken 5 stars, Hakka mixed fried rice 5 stars, Manchurian chicken chowmein 5 stars, hot and sour soup 5 stars, chicken 65 with gravy 2 stars and the service was a bit slower than expected. Overall I will be happy to spread the word

Real bad chilli paneer, Paneer was tangy and the lady went inside taste it and said nothing was wrong with it. I would give it a 0/10 if I could. Really disappointed and left the entire meal in the pate. Ruined my lunch :(

Visited last weekend with a friend, ate hakka noodles and garlic chicken....too good. The portions are good, food was hot and delicious, server was very pleasant, place was neat and clean. Loved it. And very reasonable prices. Will visit again for sure.

Really disappointed in the food. Taste is terrible in the sense that it was tasteless. I ordered their Special Dalchini Fried Rice (no taste at all) their Dragon Chicken was completely disappointing taste like you are just eatting pepper and chicken (vomit / barf) Can't believe I paid these ridiculous prices for food I would never eat. Can't even say this was an experience. It's a regret that's all!

One of the best Indian Chinese i have had in North America. I had chicken garlic fried rice, Dragon chilli paneer and chicken 65. Dragon chilli paneer was the best of the three pocket friendly serving portion js good.

Dalchini Hakka Chinese Restaurant
The name Dalchini has a meaning - it means Cinnamon. Didn’t have high expectations but wanted a quick bite and the other options in the plaza were ignored.As it was after lunch not full, and seems like they do a lot of takeout as the number of tables is not many. Seated quickly and ordered a Veg Manchurian Fried Rice and a Mixed Vegetables with “the” Tofu (that’s what the menu said The Tofu). Requested with no or little oil.The items were out quickly. The rice made with long grain rice, which I don’t prefer in Chinese dishes. The colour bright red and without any flavour and still tons of grease. The same with Mixed Vegetables. Not flavourful and still greasy. The steamed rice plenty that came with it and came in a dish rather than the usual bowl.Reasonably priced, but very little Hakka Indian flavour in the dishes that we had.
