All of the staff; meeting new people; the great food, and movie nights have contributed to his enjoyment, and we feel he has just thrived since moving in. The Jacob is a 5 star Senior Living facility set in the beautiful town of Beamsville. The rooms and common areas are all beautifully decorated, spacious and inviting and while the building itself is lovely and the amenities are superb, it’s the people who give the The Jacob its ‘heart’. From the day our Mom moved here two weeks ago, she was made to feel welcome, special and cared for.All of the staff at The Jacob go above and beyond to ensure that all her needs are met. This high level of care and compassion goes a long way to giving our family ‘peace of mind’ and we know we can contact the staff anytime to address any questions or concerns.Jill and Laurie were the first staff members we met and their knowledge and attention to detail helped make the move and transition go very smoothly. Margaret and Maddie at reception are always helpful and welcome us with a friendly smile when we visit.Candise is wonderful. Her regular email updates help to keep us aware of the changes related to the visitation regulations associated with Covid-19 and she is always available to answer any questions we may have. Her professionalism, warm smile and kind and courteous personality are evident in all of our interactions.The healthy meals and snacks courtesy of Chef Larry’s expertise are wonderful as are the staff who serve lunch and dinner. Special thanks to Chef Larry and Destiny who always have a smile and kind word for our Mom.Jacqueline looks after our Mom’s medical health and well-being ensuring that theseneeds are met.
