Registry Services

This is the worst service in whole Calgary! Workers absolutely do not know anything and do not know how! I exchanged my driver's license 2 months ago and I still haven't received it! Moreover, they LOST my ORIGINAL driver's license and the best thing - I had to pay money for it all again! I don't understand why they get their salary! Would fire them all from there!!!

Nickel and dime registry. They charge extra for using a credit card and have a $9 service fee for paying off parking fees before renewing vehicle registration. Two charges I've never paid before anywhere else. I can't imagine what other 'service fees' they charge. I won't be returning to find out. Do yourself a favor and find a better Registry.

I love the virtual wait line but I wish it was fully honoured. There was a customer that missed their place in line and when they came back they jumped the line in front of my partner and I who had been waiting there the whole time. I was then called up by the virtual queue and employee but was then turned away and rudely told to wait when someone walked up to the desk in front of me. This person had been filling out papers and then got put in front of me. It wasn’t the worst I’ve experienced at registry but it was annoying when they have such a good setup for the line and they don’t use it properly. all in all got my license figured out and got out of there within an hour it was just annoying.

Be patient in line and you'll be served. Got my registry, renewal here and its never given me a problem. Bring the right stuff and be upfront with why you're there. They ain't messing around. ☝️5 stars.

It can get a little bit packed during the day so be ready to wait patiently. I passed my road test here. My examiner Nick was calm and nice throughout the test! I recommend doing the road tests here as people are nice and approachable

The positives were that the wait was short. The clerk I was assigned in the #1 docket had an “In Training” sign posted. I explained that I was helping my son out by going in and paying for his traffic ticket as he tried for 15 days in a row to pay it online. The court date on the ticket was the day before. I went in the next day and was informed that he would now be sent a late fee and there is a $9 service fee to pay a traffic ticket at the registry. The clerk was informative but seemed stressed. I can’t imagine the situations and customers they deal with but to work in this environment you need a lot of patience, deep breaths and a smile.

Got 2 plate numbers (normal and customized) for the same vehicle on the same day.When the customized came they went to charge extra because they registered the customized number only on my wife's name, now they want to charge extra for us to put up the number.How can they register the first in both names and the customized in only 1 name.I think this is a horrible experience and more knowledgeable agents should be brought

Went Friday morning and didn’t have to wait too long, less than 10 minutes. The person helping us was great. She was very thorough, which wasn’t easy because we had A LOT to get done. Luckily, I did some research so I knew everything we had to bring. I also called a couple times before we went just to make sure I wouldn’t have to come back. Would happily come back to this registry to take care of any related matters.

I have to give the Seton Registry and in particular my road test examiner Mohammed 5 stars.Mohammed was very professional and made me feel very comfortable in what could be a very stressful situation.He was very clear with his instructions during the test and he even provided worthwhile observations about my performance after the test.Despite being successful, he emphasized the need to be safe and vigilant when driving at all times. I came in to transfer my wife's plate and brought insurance in both are names and the lady argued with me and was super rude. Basically the person did not want to work and find a resolution. Several other people who were also in line commented on how rude the person was. I would strongly recommend using a different business with more professional staff.
