Great local owned sporting goods store. They’ve been around forever! When I first moved to Surrey 30+ years ago I remember buying all my hockey gear there at the store when it was in Newton. For the last 10 years it’s been my go to place since moving to the South Surrey area. Dave, Lee, Ted, and the staff have always been friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. Most recently, they even delivered Under Armour masks to my house during the pandemic. Above and beyond customer service, keep it up guys!

I can't sing the praises of this place enough. First rate knowledge of equipment, fittings are thorough, returns policy is friendly and fair and they treat every customer / family who walks in the door with respect and kindness. If they don't have it they'll offer to get it or advise other locations in the area where it may be available. My only wish would be to have more soccer or cricket stock but I can appreciate they have to match stock with local demand.

Docksteader Sports is a Surrey landmark! Dave outfitted me for hockey gear 40 years ago and he and his team now take care of everything my 6 year-old son needs for hockey, soccer and baseball. Outstanding service and complete knowledge of all things sports. Don’t hesitate to go here for all of your equipment needs.

Been coming to this shop for 10+ years.Incredibly run store with top notch expertise about hockey and other sports. You can tell this place cares about the experience of their customers. Great service and friendly. This is my 2nd time purchasing skates from Lee at Docksteader’s. Very happy with my new skates. The flare blades are awesome! Highly recommend them.

At the time of purchase, I asked about their return policy and the sales rep told me 30 days. At that point I didn't check the receipt to verify this policy. When I went to return the item still in the original package, I was told that they were not going to give me a refund. Their refund policy is 3 days. I was 3 hours late on the 4th day. I mentioned to the sales rep what he had told me about the 30 days. At that point and in front of other customers I was accused of making things up" and was told that the 30 days only applies to defective items.I have no problem with the quality of the merchandise sold by this retailer. I have a problem with his customer service. For the owner to tell me that he "supports the community" is rather contradictory in the face of how he treated me over this issue and his condescending treatment over the phone when I called him. He refused to discuss or hear my side of the story. He cut me off right away and started talking over me in a demeaning way. I never did get the opportunity to explain anything to him and he just hung up.The refund policy shown on the Source for Sports online Website says 30 days full refund/no questions asked.Based on the way I was treated

Ted is amazing when getting fitted for new skates. Extremely knowledgeable and patient even after the first few skates. Highly recommended.

Be cautious of this retailer's refund policy. 3 days/NO EXCEPTIONS. You will not be verbally warned of this policy so check your store receipt. This warning was covered by the credit card receipt which was stapled on top of the warning by the sales clerk.

Docksteader sports in south Surrey were amazing. My 2 kids needed hockey skates. Not only did the staff take the time to properly fit the skates the price was also amazing. Would highly recommend for your sports needs
