Olde Tyme Candy Shoppe Radium

What a sweet place to visit. A lot of old school candy and treats. Definitely worth your time to stop and get some sweet treats.

Decent selection...but most of the candy (spent $40) was old, hard and stale.I think that's the reason you can mix any of the selections in most of the bins for the same price....because they need to get rid of it but are too cheap to toss it... and most people are just passing through anyways and won't notice until it's too late (like us.)Fyi- those reading reviews....notice the same theme reoccurring from other reviews...?!Old" Tyme Candy owner....you may want to taste your candy and start tossing expired ones...and not just the ones in some of your bins..see pic.The chocolate gummy bears on the counter are yummy though.** "Old Tyme" owner just commented on my review....it's a copy and paste of the other ones...lol....how embarrassing that must be...at least address it honestly and be personable...not like a robot!"

Everything we got was good, so much candy in here, and a great Wall of jelly bellies. They have payday bars! And baby Ruth and lots of strange things as well, cricket treats, bags upon bags of cotton candy, cool tins with mints. We got some of the real licorice treats from behind the counter, my daughter picked up an assortment of candy we don't see in many other places, and cheap cow tails! Cool store. Thanks!

This is a rotten store who sells expired and stale candy to little kids. Someone needs to shut this place down.Our family got almost $30 of candy and drove back to Canmore on vacation. We were shocked to see every candy bag was expired several years ago and were hard as a rock....I have informed the Canadian authorities about this place.FYI, we are from the US and simply wish to remain anonymous. We have nothing personal against the owner or store as the owner has implied below...just EXPIRED merchandise being sold!!!STAY AWAY!!!

One of my all time favorite stores to visit! Love all the various selections of goodies, never leave the store without a bag full of goodies! The staff is outstanding they are so friendly, patient and pleasant a definite spot to male on your trip through the valley!

Buyers beware!!!!Sells expired candy. So make sure you look at best before date. Bought 4 bags of sour gummy bears that was expired last month. They obviously restocked expired candy with out checking. Was there and bought two bags which wasn’t expired and came back to buy more before heading home. Didn’t realize it was expired until a friend told us when she was trying it. Can’t come in to talk to you because we don’t live in radium. So unfortunate.

On a family vacation from Sask, drove out of our way from Fairmont to take our kids to this candy store. Their voicemail said their winter hours were 10:00am, so we got here at 10:30am, and no one was here. Their google page says 11:00am so we waited for half an hour with two eager and excited kids. We ended up waiting until 11:15am and no one came to open the store. Two extremely disheartened kids from this experience, along with wasted gas and time to go to this candy shop.

Love this candy store! Always make a stop. The variety is amazing. I also love how they carry items from the US!

The owner is such a sweet lady and was so nice to kids. My 2 and 3 year old were more then excited to be in the Shop and she was so patient with them. They have every candy you could ask for even if your into chocolate or candy covered bugs! There wall of Jelly bellys was definitely impressive. Would highly recommend this shop!
