Centennial Arena

Older arena but still in good shape. Parking lot isn't that big for tournaments but fine for regular games. The heaters for the fan seating work well and isn't too cold in the arena. The lobby is small though.

Not as shiny and new as some arenas - but a nice facility.The change rooms are small - drop you kids off and stay clear - only enough room for players and coaches.The home seating area has overhead radiant heaters - the visitor area none (wonder why?)2020-01-28 The overhead heaters now extend all the way down the viewing benches (home AND visitor section).

Still the classic Arena I've loved since I played in the 90s

It's not horrible but very outdated. No snack bar, at least not that I've ever seen open. The visitors side has no heaters which is fine unless your on the visitor side.

The team benches were very long and the dressing rooms are small.

Old barn. Typical quanset hut arena built in the 40's. Home side bleachers are heated as well as the home team bench, not the best way to welcome out of town spectators. Dressing rooms are tiny. Need 2 per team. Horrible facility. Avoid if possible.

Centennial Arena is a building with lots of character. Most notably are it's wooden roof trusses giving it the look of an old style barn. The ice is not great, at times the puck comes to a sudden stop. The change rooms are extremely small. There are comfortable benches for spectator's to watch games but only the home side has overhead heating

Finally have heaters for the full seating area. Small change rooms and would be smart for City to blow out the back wall of the rooms and make them longer. Ice is great this year.

Signed up for a hockey league that plays all its games at Centennial- hard to say it’s worth the money. The chalkboard isn’t updated so no one ever knows what room to be in, the rooms are tiny with no garbage cans so they’re always a complete mess, the showers don’t even turn on, toilet didn’t flush in the last room. I love playing in an old barn style and seeing all the nails in the trusses and etc but the ice quality is just terrible and the rink is way too warm, soft ice and fogging up visors, I’ve never felt so hot playing hockey, and way harder to catch your breath.The only time the temperature was alright was when it was below -20 outside. The ice was harder that time but it was as rough and beat up as I’ve ever seen. Wish there was some TLC and pride because there’s a lot of potential still.

Love this arena. The look of the wood rafter is cool and you can smell the wood. Don't think it's that cold if you're dressed properly. Has that old style barn hockey arena feel. Facility is kept clean also. Seating is comfortable also.
