The staff here were just fantastic at outfitting me with cross country ski gear. They took the time to walk me through the options, & benefits of different gear and shared some great tips and resources. I’m new to the sport and I felt so comfortable and encouraged. In my experience so many ski stores can be a bit elitists and snobby - this place is the exact opposite. I feel like all are welcome and there are no silly questions at Algonquin Outfitters Haliburton. The season staff and youngsters on were all quite knowledgeable and very professional. The prices were very reasonable and there was so much inventory. I would strongly recommend that if you are looking for outdoor gear in the county to check this place out. I will most definitely be back and I was very Very impressed. Emily S

Great experience here. Was looking for a bike part that isn’t usually sold separately. Young guy working let me root through mechanics bin and saved the day allowing me to get cycling!! Spectacular service.

What great service! Both my husband and I needed bike repairs, they were done quickly and very reasonable prices too!Also, love the new setting for your kayak and paddle board displays out front. A wonderful addition to the main street.

Although I made no purchases, staff appeared helpful and friendly. Great spot for watersports gear and athletic clothing. There are canoe and kayak rentals offered at this location. Big and spacious with lots of products. Ample parking in the area. Would shop here in the future.

We went out for a family ride today, but one of my boys bikes wasn't changing gears. I called the shop and David told me to bring it straight over. He took my sons bike right in and fixed it within 5 mins, he was very kind and even showed my boys how he was fixing it. I highly recommend him for any of your bike repairs.Thanks again David for getting us back out on the trails!

Amazing guided adventure with Haley and Teagan!! Stopped at Tom Thompson island to see the totem pole, cookie snack and dock swim! Then on to Whiskey Bay and saw a bull moose from the canoe!! Both Haley and Teagan were patient and taught the kids proper techniques. Safe and fun!! Super recommend. The pup loved it too! She's a water dog...totally recommend your dog has experience to make it a success. Followed with dinner at Canoe restaurant. Yummy. Great day.

A great rewards program (must provide your phone number) with monetary rewards....my last (albeit small) purchase was free!Check the clearance racks and bins for great deals on out of season gear/clothing by quality name brands.Shop local when you're in Haliburton, we need these stores so we can continue enjoying the beautiful playground in cottage country!

Rented 2 Kayaks with paddles. The staff was incredibly helpful loading them in the back of my truck and making sure I had everything I needed. They answered all of my questions and even suggested how to maneuver out the tight parking lot. When I did the return, there was different staff but they were very upbeat and helpful unloading as well! Thank you for making this experience a good one!! I loved my time on the water!! I’ll be back again next year! :)My only suggestion would be to offer delivery and pick up :)
