Akron Roofing replaced our roof almost three years ago. Yesterday, in the middle of a crazy rainstorm, we started to get a major leak down the stove vent. One call to Rod and someone was at the house the next morning, with a follow up call to let us know that if there were any further issues, just call and they would do a full change out of the vent pipe. Wow! We were delighted with the entire installation in the first place, but with this great follow up and responsiveness, Akron has a customer for life. We are very impressed and very grateful that there are folks around who stand by their work. We HIGHLY recommend Akron.

Akron roofing not only installed our new Euroshield roof, which we absolutely love, they also nstalled new siding on our house. Any concerns we have, they were dealt with immediately. The crews members for both the roofing and the siding were very friendly, but also professional. Owners, Rod and Deanna could not do enough to make sure we were pleased with the work they did. We just recently had our gutters, soffit and fascia replaced by Akron Roofing. They were easy to do business with, offered a variety of payment methods. As soon as the weather permitted they were onsite and completing the installation. The work was well done and it looks amazing. I highly recommend them for any of your roofing needs.

We are incredibly happy with the work done by Akron Roofing. We highly recommend them for any roof work needed and would not hesitate to use them again if needed.We did our due diligence and had three quotes from three top roofing companies in Calgary. We chose Akron for the following reasons:1. Customer service - Akron was the clear choice in this regard. They provided the most detailed estimate and spent significant time with us reviewing our options for roofing material and the pros and cons of each. They educated us and allowed us to make our own decision with no pressure to use one product over another.2. Knowledge - Rodney at Akron was the most knowledgeable of all the people who provided quotes. His concern was with providing us with the right product (based on our needs) and ensuring installation was done correctly.3. Price - All three quotes were within a narrow band, but Akron was more than willing to price match to a similar product and installation method.During the installation we spoke to Rodney as well as the onsite roofers every day. They always let us know exactly what they were doing, any issues they found, and cleaned up each evening before they left. They had three people working at all times on our job to ensure completion without undue delay.Additionally, Rodney spoke to both our neighbors before the job started to ensure they could contact him directly if they had any issues. This is just one example of the many things done by Akron that add up to a great customer experience.Not being a roof expert, it was easy to tell this crew was doing things properly and methodically. We have a parapet with a low angle roof on a small part of our house, and Rodney had his flat roof expert spend an additional 1.5 days (1 day budgeted) on this portion of our house, and with no additional cost. I have absolute faith this job was done correctly with no corners cut.Regarding the look of the new GEM Euroshield roof, it's hard to take a picture that does it justice, especially since I'm not going up on the roof to get pictures for a google review :-). In person the product looks amazing, and with the quality of installation I believe this roof will last a very long time.We would give Akron 7 starts if we could. Highly recommended, and once you meet Rodney to discuss your roofing needs I am sure you will have a similar experience to us.TL;DR This company is awesome and you will not be disappointed if you use them.

So these guys might be ok for roof repairs but I would never recommend them for a skylight installation. They installed mine last summer and it leaked immediately. I called Rod the owner and they came out 3 times to repair it but it continued to leak. He stated my house had too much humidity but I bought a tester and it showed only 26% humidity. It continues to leak to this day. I called the manufacturer No Leak skylights and they stated that this was definitely installed incorrectly. I found Rod very unprofessional in his response with me and I will now go to a company that knows how to install these properly. My neighbour had his installed at the same time and he’s had no issues with his. I will be contacting that company in future to get my skylight replaced again. I would never recommend these guys for anything based on my terrible experience.

I had my roof replaced with Akron in August 2022. Service was great since first contact. Ron was always on top of things from beginning to end. His staff was also great and accommodating. Replacement was done on time and the end result was superb. Highly recommended to anyone looking to replace a roof.

Rodney and his crew delivered what they promised. Rodney gave me options and the pros and cons of different shingles and installation methods. The crew arrived when they said they would, did the work fast and efficiently and cleaned up as they promised. The 3 man crew had over 50 years of roofing experience between them and it showed. Last time I had the roof done (25 years ago) the contractor hired a crew from Sask and had no skin in the game and the end result was far from good. I'm confident this roof installation was done far better than the last time. Rodney came by 3 times in 2 days to inspect the work being done and to check that the installation was being done to his standards. He has lots of certifications from various manufacturers and is a certified installer. Based on his inspection they added 4 new intake vents (at no charge) because he thought the roof needed it. I am very pleased with the work from start to finish and would use Akron again if I needed any work done to my roof.

We had spoken to several companies but Akron stood out among all of them as more professional and overall kinder and more personal touch. The work they did was amazing our roof looks great and we got a competitive and very fair price for materials that seem to be superior than some of the competitors.I highly suggest them amazingly positive experience with this company.
