The desk staff are some of the rudest people you will ever speak to, shame too Dr. Bernyk and Dr. Crane are great.

Yesterday, I took my elderly mother to her family doctor at this location. As I understand, there are two receptionists that work there. A younger one and an older one. My experience is with the older one. My mother had started taking a new medication approximately 2-3 weeks ago and was experiencing very serious side effects including seizures. My elderly mother is also immunocompromised with serious health issues. When we arrived at the doctor's office, we discovered that my elderly mother had mixed up her appointment date. Her actual appointment date was four days away. I asked to speak to the receptionist privately to explain the urgent nature of my mothers medical issue. To my surprise, I was curtly told it was not possible. The other people in the waiting room were listening in to our conversation and my mother was already embarrassed that I was accompanying her. I explained this was very serious in nature and could she please make an exception. The receptionist made it very clear that she was not pleased with me or my mother and let me come behind the door for privacy. At this point, I explained to her that my mom was taking this new medication, that she had already had two seizures, that she had fallen and hit her head, that she was stumbling and off balance, that she couldn't speak properly and was slurring her words. I explained to the receptionist that the ER wait times were about 12 hours and my mother desperately needed to see her doctor today and could they please fit her in, any time would work for us. She told me my mother looked stable" and to come back in four days for her appointment. She spoke over me and she didn't listen to me. She looked right through me. She was extremely condescending which makes me wonder how she treats seniors who come in by themselves and could be experiencing the same issues as my mother. This is a receptionist who works for a doctor who proudly states he specializes in geriatrics

I cannot say enough positive words to express my experiences with Dr. Bernyk !! Him and his staff are extremely professional, kind, caring, intelligent and passionate about their practice. Absolutely fantastic !!!

I would give negative stars if I could. The staff at Dr. Bernyk’s clinic are seriously incompetent, if not the doctor himself. I’ve had to go in and get upset in the office in order to get the info/prescriptions I needed. I have now waited for 2 weeks for a refill, very simple task, and they lied to me saying they sent it off the day I called. I would not recommend this place to anyone I care about. There’s a reason they’re “always accepting new patients”. I’ve never felt less cared for.

I’ve been bringing my Mother-in-law to Dr. Bernyk for the last year or so. I find Jane who is the one that takes your calls and does more than calls very friendly and helpful. Does what she can to accommodate. Serena, the nurse is the most bubbly, happy go lucky young lady a doctor could hire. She is compassionate, caring, smart, helpful, professional. As for Dr. Bernyk, he is a God send, we couldn’t have a doctor better. He has been great in so many ways. Very thankful we have them.

No one answers the phones, no one calls you back and when I finally went in person they ignored me for 20min.. I don't understand how a doctors office can treat people this way
