St. Charles Garnier

Great experience

It is good

We moved to this school district 6 years ago. St. Charles Garnier was a good school with a rating of 6.8 or higher prior to that. Since this school has been sliding lower and lower each year on the rating. My sin is in Grade 4th right now and I think the only years I was happy with his teachers and the school when he was in Kindergarten Jk/Sk. My child comes home and he can't tell me one thing that he learned at his school day after day. No homework what so ever. The children have no clue what is the expectation from them. This is not just a reflection of my own child, I have spoken with many of the other parents and not one of them were happy with the school. Emotionally the children are nurtured but they are not getting the necessary academical knowledge for their level. The number of the students has been dropping each year. I wouldn't be surprised if this school would be closed in the near future. I had to edit the rating. My son is in grade 7 now and he loves his tea her and happy with the school. He still says he has no homework but now the teacher communicate with the parents by texting pretty often so it is much easier to keep tab on the child.
