Edit: After reading my review, take a look at the other negative reviews. It's clear this company lacks the attention to details that a professional title company should have. Mine is not the only negative review stating lack of attention to details when creating the closing documents. Lack of attention to detail is what creates future legal matters for buyers and sellers. It makes sense why they have a compliance and error correction agreement. They clearly need it for the errors made by their staff.Update: 1 day after closing" we receive a document that should have been included with the closing package.Update 12/15: 2 days after "closing" they reached out to a real estate agent who had a listing on the property asking for a copy of the Purchase agreement. The problem? We had an exclusion for the purchaser because we had made contact with them prior to listing the property. When the buyers sent the agent from Amrock the purchase agreement

Advised me to close on my house in june. This caused $12000 in unexpected property tax fees due to loan abatement only starting on years end in detroit and they never mentioned that at ALL in fact told me that i would owe no property tax during closing . Absolutely horrible. Be extremely careful with amrock

This company is complete trash. They didn’t show up for my first closing date rescheduled, resigned paperwork just for them to tell me they lost my closing packet. Of course no one will be held accountable and me, the customer is the one to suffer. I’m no longer locked in at the rate I was offered as this process has been ongoing since August. Avoid Rocket Mortgage and Amrock at all costs. There are several kinks in their chain that unfortunately no one cares enough about to fix.

Working here is not for the weak at all. Training was for weeks and I was still lost on what to do and the managers was mean and not easy to approach at all and if you start by getting in by a TEMP AGENCY then it’s like they have no respect for you and don’t care if you stay or go and sad because it’s a beautiful building but my experience was unpleasant due to others.

Please be aware of this company. DO NOT use them. They are playing games on assessments along with the banks. Amrock employee inexperience or lack of knowledge should not be taken out on the consumer. Specifically, rep named Tiffany Naroff-Machant in New Hampshire. She has given assessments $50K below the value. The comparisons were not accurate in the area. She refused to go back and look at recent closings that were in similar year. She is terrible!!! Stay away from this company.

When selling the house the buyer used this title company and they are highly incompetent. Closing happened on Friday and funds were not disbursed until Monday late evening. The disbursed funds were short by several thousand dollars, and they needed another full day to figure out what was wrong in their calculations. Still funds are nowhere to be found.I've worked with several title companies, but this was the worst experience ever. If possible, please stay away from them at all cost. If you are seller, recommend your buyer to consider another business.

Because you can't give 0. Worst title company ever!! Avoid at all cost, if you ever plan on closing on a house. They are very slow and will let any person involved in the closing slow up the process. They could care less about the situation your in. Because they are the ones to put you in it. There customer service is beyond poor. You must contact them for info, other wise your left in the dark until the last minute. So if you want you closing prolonged and you love love the game of hurry and wait. Well then there the team for you. You can ask for Cortney in Indiana and I guarantee you will get the same great service.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The appraisal has nothing to do with Amrock which is the TITLE COMPANY. Appraisals are done by 3rd party companies and they have nothing to do with AMROCK. I have personally used Amrock to purchase, refi and sell a house & I couldn't be happier using them. Every question my Realtors couldn't answer was answered within the hour by Amrock after the Real Estate Agents reached out to them. I sold my house and the money was in my bank account 3 hours after signing. Great experiences with Amrock on all 3 of my transactions!

Closed on my mortgage refinance on 11/15 with Rocket Mortgage and the closing was handled by Amrock. All went fine and then the final part was receiving my payoff checks and sending them to all the creditors. To facilitate this, I was lucky enough to deal with Mohamed Hamade at Amrock. He is extremely diligent and top-notch. Highly recommend him. A real professional and an extremely pleasant individual.

I have bought 7 houses in my lifetime and this last one was the worst experience I've ever had. Amrock repeatedly dropped the ball and I almost lost my interest rate lock since we had to repeatedly reschedule the closing date.
