Old and not well-maintained restaurant. The flooring is coming off and one can easily trip over. Service is slow. The waitress was really nice and sweet, and was trying her best to give us a good experience despite the drinks being bad and food being below average. She offered to remake our drinks as well as food. Appetizers were good. The vegetarian mains were better than meat mains.

This was my third time there- personally, I think this place is quite pricey for the food. I would not recommend getting cocktails here, we ordered the mangorita, very small portion for the price. Overall the food was quite average. The best dish was the prawns appetizer, but again the prawns were very small. For mains, I would recommend their butter chicken, it wasn’t too sweet like a typical butter chicken. The customer service is great, the host is very friendly indeed. Must also say, their background music is on point!!

Had lunch here during the holiday week. It was empty when we arrived but began to fill up shortly after. Our hostess was very attentive and courteous. I expected the set menu but it was not available due to the holidays. We had garlic naan, goat vindaloo and mango lassi. The food was flavourful and the drink was well made. Personally, the best Indian food I've had in TO. I also enjoyed the ambience. Will be back for the food!

A very interesting twist to authentic Indian food that actually tastes amazing. The place is located close to CN tower and Ripleys Aquarium so that makes it a good choice for a relaxed dining experience on a very touristy day. The best part of the restaurant is their willingness to recommend and offer off the menu dishes to suit your tastes and moods of the day. The salmon curry dish was probably a one of its kind ever prepared and tasted delicious. The presentation and plating are very stylish and so is the rest of the service as well. A little more attention to cleanliness in the washrooms would have made it a genuine Michelin star restaurant that it can probably easily become. Would definitely recommend this place just for the talent of the Indian chef and the service they are genuinely trying to provide.

I went for Winterlicious dinner and disappointed. It was very pricey for the portion of the food and their quality fell short of my expectations. Also the wait time between the food is unneccesarily too long. The service here is good but the waitors are coming up and down the stairs too much. I wonder how they received a michelin star.

Pretty good place with neat interiors, but not a big restaurant. Good Indian cuisine, with some good options for appetizers and main courses. Chicken dum biriyani was good. Rice and chicken (boneless) were well cooked and the mix of Indian masala was good. But I wanted/expected it to be more spicy. The service was very good, extremely courteous staff with quick supply. Overall, I enjoyed the food and the place.

The ownership changed but the quality of food has remained the same. My personal test is the Dal Tadka, which as expected rocked. Also, the Dilliwala Butter Chicken and the Tomato Dhaniya shorba: lovely dishes. Nice environment. It was fun.

From out of town (Victoria, BC) and this place was near my hotel and decided to give it a try. Loved it, service was great, friendly and welcoming. Food was very tasty, quick and well worth it. I had Rosemary Naan and Australian Lamb Shank. Quantity was more than enough for two people. I couldn’t finish it. Highly recommended and I would go back. Waiter was great and attended me and never made me wait and cleared my table promptly.
