So lovely to come into a coffee shop which has real food & very good coffee (including Flat White). Also so nice to not be given coffee in a disposable cup when having it in store. Look at the beautiful mug it was served in! Beautiful cozy decor, with lounges, board games & books to read. Well done creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Finished up a big hike today in the local forest trails and needed a coffee and snack I after our jaunt. I was told Steampunk was the go to place for coffee so I stopped in. Super funky shop with wicked unique atmosphere and interior all in the Steampunk style. I had a great cheese croissant and cookie and was stoked that they had a dirty chai latte ( chai with espresso) I will be back again absolutely

Love the name, love the decor, but not so much the atmosphere. Walking in I anticipated the warm smell of a bustling cafe, and instead there was an odour of wet couch/jacket/fur. There is no music playing and no sense of dynamism. I took my coffee into the reading area which was very well designed and has a cool vibe to it. This vibe was stymied due to the cold temperature in the room. I found myself cupping the coffee mug just to warm my hands. This was my third trip to the cafe and it’s been the same each time. I wanted so badly to fall in love with this place given it’s name and connection to all thinks nerdy, but it seems that it does not have this life, it’s just a another corner coffee store.

Great atmosphere! Would have loved to spend time in the library area, or just spend more time looking around at everything in the store. The drinks were very good, and the cinnamon bun I had was decent. Overall, was a nice place that I would recommend!

Good mocha, comfy chairs, and lots to look at. There are two sections, one with tables and chairs and one called The Reading Room plus an outdoor patio. My kind of music - 70's and 80's, but ones I haven't heard for a while.

Incredible food amazing atmosphere. My first time visiting today. I grabbed a breakfast sandwich, a coffee and a book and sat on the couch for few hours and relaxed. I haven’t been too many places that are that comfortable or inviting to be able to do that.I read through some reviews of people saying they found the food/drinks to be pricey and I disagree. I found the prices to be more than reasonable for the quality of the product. I would pay more for something made local and made fresh daily any day.

Bought a feta salad bowl.Looked nice enough.Iceberg lettuceShredded carrotA bit of tomatoA Tiny bit if shaved feta.All tasted blah.Not freshReally disappointed.Service ok but not very friendly.I will be walking down to Grassroots at Harbor Quay, where the prices are comparable and the freshness and taste is amazing.Goodbye Steampunk.

It's definitely a very nice place. It's funky, it's handy at times, there are books to read, if you need that, and there are lots of options in terms of seating. Not a while lot of space, but options.The food options are decent, and fresh. Their coffee blend options are, to be frank, not my favourite, but that's a matter of personal taste. They do allow you to do your own sugar and cream, which is an option too often neglected these days.The prices do tend to be a bit steep, but I suspect that is necessary to pay for the rest of the amenities.
