Commodore Ballroom
We were walking by and was told the july talk show was sold out. A fellow overheard us and offered his 2 tickets to us for free. We were blown away by his generosity. His name was Christopher, thanks man you made my wife's birthday over the top. The opening act was very good Crown lands, we had never been to the Commodore before, it's a great live music venue.

Great sound quality, well laid out with seating around the edges and a large floor area, friendly staff and a reasonable selection of food and drinks. One of the best venues in town!

The Commodore is still standing (RIP Richard's on Richard's, Starfish Room, etc etc etc in Vancouver). Finally made it yo the Flaming Lips show circa 2020 that brought us back to this awesome venue. Small changes - no cash / all card these days. Coatcheck is $4. Cups are plastic.But the bouncy floor and sight lines remain the sane - awesome!

Wheelchair accessible! If you contact them ahead of time they are happy to accommodate and reserve a table for you. First access to the building before concert as well as an elevator. I had an acute injury that I got after I bought the tickets and it was no problem communicating with them and making sure I was set! My partner and I had a table at the Novo Amor, sold out show.

Great place for a concert especially if you get in early enough before hand to grab a seat (and then no bar runs…servers come to you…was nice change from normal bar venue)…sound was fantastic for indoor concerts

From the staff to the history, it's simply the best venue in all Vancouver!!!!I have been to over 100 shows at this venue. Over 25 years of attending shows and this place has never skipped a beat! Amazing staff! Incredible views no matter where you sit! Just can't say enough good about it!

Bigger than expected inside. Get there early if you want a table. They have an line for people with disabilities who get to go in first. I wish they had more snacks and finger food on their menu. A cider and a small fry was $20.They have two screens to either side of the stage but they didn’t use them when the band was playing to give people further back a better view of the stage. When leaving stay to the left if you are not needing to get a coat from coat check. We got stuck in the stagnant line for coat check for a few minutes when the concert was over.
