The people working there are really helpful. Great services. Their system to buy items is a bit much. Great place to find useful tools of all kind and gift.

Not a fan. I know a lot of people love this place, but I was really surprised to find out that you couldn’t just pick anything up off the shelf and buy it. You have to fill out an order form and have the staff go get it from their warehouse. Like the old Sears catalogue days that I thought went with the DODO bird. Even if they did have items on the shelf you could buy, a paper form still had to be filled out, by you, or the staff would have to do it. Family run business and I know a lot of people love it. I will be in no rush to come back though. I can see they may have unique, quality items, but I didn’t see anything that would make me want to convert to their way of experiencing shopping.

I can find things here I often can't find elsewhere. Today, it was a profile gauge.There are fun, unique, little things you can buy here that are quite inexpensive-- for the items you pay more for, the quality is always worth it.The staff at this location are so helpful and wonderful,The only bad thing about Lee Valley is trying to leave *only* with what you went for-- there are too many tempting, neat things!

Customer service has really deteriorated. The worst part is, I don't even think they'll miss my customer loyalty. I don't even think they know I'm gone.

Much of the focus has been diverted from wood craft to expensive gadget sales. The feeling is now very corporate. It no longer has the feeling of the small family business it was. It's no more than any average store. Staff are still friendly.

This chain provides really personal service. Everyone who works there knows and loves the products. They have many products for wood workers specifically but also carry lots of nifty" or useful things I've never seen anywhere else."
