Here's my story...I purchased a Simon G ring as my wedding band in 2016 in Burlington, as I lived in that area at the time. I now live in St. Catharines.I posted on FB asking for recommendations on a jeweller in St. Catharines to take my engagement ring and wedding band to be cleaned.Everyone said Vandendools (except one person who said don't go there as they had a bad experience - I should have listened).So I took my rings last summer to Vandendools and my engagement ring was fine but they said a diamond fell out of my wedding band in the cleaning machine.They sent it away to have it repaired. They called to tell me that it couldn't be repaired and that it was a cheaply made ring"...they could have worded it a little more gracefully. I spent more money on this as my wedding band than a traditional band.They gave me the ring back with the loose diamond in a little bag.I contacted Simon G and I won't even get into that debacle.I didn't know what to do so I just didn't wear my wedding band since last summer.A few weeks ago I decide to pop into Penner's to get my engagement ring cleaned (they're located close to where I live

Well overdue by now... 2 years ago, I worked closely with Adam to custom design an engagement ring my now wife would adore. I had an image in my mind and Adam made it a beautiful reality! Could not be happier with the way the ring turned out, I smile every time I see it on my wife's hand. Thank you Adam and VandenDool Jewelers for your patience throughout the design process and being so helpful/accommodating from afar.My wife is a geologist by trade and Adam was able to fashion a little rock hammer into the ring to complement a stunning diamond. I brought my engagement ring in (purchased from Vandendool) because it reshaped 3 weeks before my wedding! The staff were FANTASTIC and had my ring shaped within 3 days - lots of time before the wedding - which saved any added stress on top of wedding planning. So grateful for their service and talent.Quality is absolutely outstanding and the staff is always so welcoming and kind.
