Worst place to go. Terrible customer service and they cancel your grooming appointment without any notice or contacting you.

We love the work the the groomer does for our dogs however she tends to cancel last minute a lot. We try to book appointments in advance to avoid cancellations but we have had times where we have shown up with our three dogs and are told that the groomer was not able to make it in today. Have been cancelled on last minute over and over again.

The manager is nice, but the staff are either too new to know doing work or too rude.

I was in Pet Valu Brooklin this afternoon with my dog to pick up dog treats and a cat litter box. New to this store, I asked a staff member to assist me in finding my items, first, because I couldn't find my brand of treats, and, secondly, because my dog is nervous in these settings and I was hoping to get in/out quickly. This lovely staff member was quick to jump into action as I explained my awkward situation - grabbing the items I needed and getting me to cash. And, as I was grabbing my items to leave she wished me well in our cat situation and said bye to my dog! How sweet is that?! PS: They even offer up liver snaps at the front door for leashed dogs entering the store.

I have had my dog booked for a grooming appointment twice and twice they got cancelled last minute. The first time no one called to let me know, I called to ask what time the appointment was for because I had book SO FAR in advance and the girl told me the groomer should have called me cause she isn’t coming in today. I rebooked, things happen, then I get a text the morning of the second appointment that she’s cancelling AGAIN. I can’t think of a more unprofessional groomer service. Don’t know how you can trust to leave your pets with someone who can’t commit to their own appointments.

Love our local Pet Valu! We get our treats, toys and grooming gear from here. The staff is always friendly and accommodating even during the pandemic. <3

By far the worst grooming I have ever had for my three dogs in their life.Their faces were not done properly- their feet are chopped up all to hell- their ears where never touch and I got them back bald which I never asked for and never do to my dogs.I WOULD NEVER IN MY WHOLE LIFETIME EVER GO BACK TO SUCH CARELESS COLD HEARTED PEOPLE TO GROOM MY PETS!Never going to ever recommend them ever!!!

I sent out an earlier review today talking about the bad service I received while trying to purchase kitty litter. After my review was read by the owner, he sent me back a response very quickly and offered to give me the item I had required for free to make up for the bad service. That is excellent customer service and I truly appreciated his effort to remedy the situation. Within the hour I had the kitty litter delivered to me by the manager along with an apology from her and the young woman who served me. I'm amazed at the outstanding service and I now regret writing my poor review earlier. We will indeed continue to shop at Pet Value. Thank you so much.

The staff here are knowledgeable and very helpful, the groomer on staff is amazing and puts a lot of love into her work, my dog always looks amazing and is so happy to go into the salon. The owner of this location unfortunately is rude and unprofessional, I've seen him yell at his staff and have seen his young children working in the store. I would only come to this location for the grooming and nothing else.
