Alexandros Take-Out
My daughter and I visited here and it was such a comfortable and fun experience! It felt like a vacation. The owners are really friendly and told us about their beautiful culture too! It was peaceful, overlooking the park and the Alexander the Great statue. We even saw a short filming production while eating our dinner. We all had a good laugh and it made the visit even more memorable.Their food is delicious and yummy. The mouthwatering chicken, the rice, the salad, was flavorful and hit the spot on such a cold day.I thank Alexandros for having us and we definitely will come back soon!

Fast food experience for take out at dine in pricing. I ordered the beef and lamb gyros and was suprises when he got the meat from the refrigerator and then grilled the meat. The kit from metro tasted the same. I asked for no tomatoes three tomes and on second photo you can see the tomatos. They were skimping out on the garnish, many location in area load up on lettice and tzatiki sauce.Washroom was out of service also. Many better option at a higher quality and lower prices price minutes away. But while i was waiting they were making the pork gyro in house.

Horrible food and experience. RIP Alexandros. This used to be an amazing spot for gyros now it’s just dry dog food. Chicken not fresh. Tomatoes not fresh. Rude dude.

Ordered the chicken dinner. Chicken looked and tasted like it had been cooked in the morning and left in a warming dish where it slowly dried out and leathered over time. Dinner was supposed to come with potatoes and rice, instead it came with fries. Salad was slapped together and leaking from the container.Disappointing. Inedible.

Do not, I repeat do not!!! Eat here. You have a better chance of getting good food and experience from McDonald’s than here. Alexandro’s ownership changed for this location and is now owned by Indian people, who don’t know how to operate the grill machines so the chicken and meats don’t stay fresh and juicy. Instead they serve up hard overcooked bland and miniscule portion of the worst chicken gyro imaginable. The man behind the counter has a mean attitude and will stare you down with hatred and give you a stink eye while you order. Absolutely abysmal taste and experience and yet another Toronto gem gone.

This used to be our go to spot for years, but the food was total disappointment. We ordered chicken souvlaki on pita. The chicken was hard as rock, burned and hardly edible. The service was decent, but we were there for food. Complete disaster.

I took a bite of my gyro and literally started crying because it was so bad. The chicken is like SHARDS of glass because it’s so dry and poorly cooked - the new owners don’t know how Greek food is made. I literally cried I’m not joking I didn’t even bother to go back because I know they wouldn’t be able to make a proper fresh one. Dear new owners: please just pick up the phone and ask the old owners how they kept the chicken moist on the grill. Please, I’m sure they’ll be more than willing to help. To customers: go to Souvlike down the street. It’s not like old Alexandros but at least it’s not horrible shards of glass.

Bought a gyros on pita and the pork looks just bad and hard. It s as if they left it for a week and just microwaved it. Never coming back.

This place used to be one of my favourite spots on the Danforth. Good food for the best price. Went there today and saw that the original owners have retired and sold the place. the prices have doubled since the new owners have taken over. The lady who served me took 30 minutes to make my pita. Absolutely burned and dried my chicken since she left it on the grill for so long. Won’t be coming back, that’s for sure.
