ONTARIO HEART CENTER ETOBICOKE

This place deserves 0 star. I was supposed to get 72 hour heart monitor attached to me. They cancelled few minutes before my appointment to re-schedule. I had already taken half day at work. They said the technician is off sick (which I understand but at least call a little earlier). They re-scheduled me for today and they wasted a lot of my time. The technician did not know how to put sensors and monitor and set up the session in their system/computer. She had to call multiple people for help and even after that it toll forever to complete the task. The 5 minute task took an hour and I am still not sure if all was done correctly.

I was here the first time with my family member it was smooth and good. This time they double booked and I was sent home without having my appointment, even someone called me before to schedule this for me and I left a voice msg to confirm. Make sure you receive confirmation before you come here.

Avoid! I came here for an ECG and they did not send the results to my doctor until 7 days later. I called over 10 times and no one answered the phone. When I was finally able to get through I was given the runaround for days. At one point, one staff member called me to ask if I wanted to book an ECG even though I had come in for the test days earlier.This is a HEART clinic. This level of negligence could put someone in danger or lead to a medical emergency. There is absolutely no excuse for taking 7 days to send test results. ECG results do not take more than one day. Furthermore, I should not have had to request that my test results be sent to my doctor. This should have been done automatically that same day or the next day.I was not offered an apology or even the tiniest bit of empathy when I went in to find out what the hold up was. I found the admin staff to be extremely dismissive and disorganized.The least they could have done is communicate and apologize.

This centre is outstanding. The technicians are the friendly, most helpful and compassionate people when one is undergoing stress tests.

Great Doctor , very kind and caring !Listen to all your problems ....Iam lucky to have them as my cardiologist...I had chest pain they just called me for Very urgent appointment for next day ....I really recommand them for you without thinking just select them as your doctor .Thanks for all of you who working hard and caring about people health!

I wish I can give a 0 star. They sent a text reminder, but on there there was no way to cancel appointment via text. Ok so I called to say I can’t make it to the appointment and ask if it could be pushed back by an hour. Lady said cancellation within 48 hours which was not communicated AT ALL during appointment making nor the text.I told her it’d take 60 minutes to get there. She really said to ‘try my best’ to get to the Etobicoke location and it was 30 minutes before appointment. Told me as well I can only be late 15 minutes, but if I cancel it is $100. Make it make sense.The receptionist here is the worst.

Been coming here the last 3 years for an annual check up. Philippino technician/receptionist is always sweet. The lady who did my heart ultrasound this year though, she needs to be less nosy and focus on what she’s doing. Felt like an interrogation. Made it super awkward. She asked me: how old I was, if I was married. Then told me her son is a year younger than me and is married now after marrying in December. Then asked: if I finished my studies, what do I do for work, if I have siblings. If my older brother is married, where I’m from and if my mom works or stays home. Yea she asked all that. Very unprofessional.

We got appointment quickly and find the place very professional. Staff was friendly . Thank You

The worst experience ever in my life.They don't answer the phone, I tried 10 times to Call them just make appointment for my son.SO, after the ECO they told my will sent the results to the family doctor.After 1 week I called the doctor and she told me they didn't receive any thing.I called the center and i told them I just want the results , sorry we cannot give it to or discuss it with you.I called my son doctor and she sent them email to sent the results, nothing happens .Almost 2 months and they still didn't send anything till now.From 24-July to 15 - September.So they left me a voice mail today for phone consultation after 1 week .I don't think it's a heart clinic, it's a nothing.This level of negligence could put someone in danger or lead to a medical emergency.
