I had a couch to donate, and sent multiple picture over up front to determine eligibility. It had a small crayon mark, which we talked about over email even, but the rep still said someone will show up and inspect it and should be okay. Waited 3 weeks for the pick up, had a lot of difficulty heaving it out to the lawn, and the driver said that any marks at all, they can’t take. So basically the furniture have to be in mint condition . This place collects donations, but yet they make the process so difficult.Don’t bother donating here, if your furnitures are not in mint condition. Try good will or other avenue.

I am a homeowner, so this review will carry some bias. Habitat for Humanity saved my families life. Through the hand-up" instead of a "hand-out" program

Habitat for Humanity has been a great resource from start to finish! I recently donated a love seat and chair and the process has been clear and helpful from the application form to pickup. There was a lot of communication about the pickup and nice reminders as the date neared. Keith and Jim were super lovely and carefully moved the furniture out of my apartment. I couldn’t have had a better experience, thank you Keith and Jim and the rest of the crew!

Ignorant front counter staffAbsolutely no customer service what so ever .The only ones who where polite where the gentleman who help in the back .Absolutely sad to see these ladies are the face of such a reputable company.I saw them treat the four people ahead if me rudly , including me when it was my turn .I support this company every year with donations and shop for my staging relastate company, and donate furniture back. This is making me re think entirely. It was that bad , . The ne location in calgary was a awful experience.

I donated a sofa, chair, loveseat, single bed mattress, boxspring, frame and headboard, and a washer and dryer to this organization. The only feed back I got was from the guy who picked them up which was they aren't brand new". Never again."

I have mainly dealt with the people at the loading dock and rude and unprofessional are the words that come to mind! I’m a general contractor so I now the standard procedure when picking up materials from different suppliers. They vary from place to place but similar all around. Most people I have seen picking up materials from the restore or not contractors but homeowners and fixer-upper‘s trying to take on a job and save a few bucks. They don’t know what they’re supposed to do when picking up stuff they have purchased. The way I’ve seen these people treated is terrible. Yelling and berating people should not be standard business procedure. Educate them instead of insulting them. Skinny guy with the ponytail needs to come down off his high horse and take a course on treating people/PAYING CUSTOMERS with respect. Terrible thing to see people arrive to pick up their supplies excited and leave upset and in tears.

Some of the staff are nice… And some of them are absolutely not suited to work in retail. There’s this one lady who works in the back who has the most unprofessional attitude towards customers.
