Oshawa Scout Shop

I don’t feel customer service is strong here, I love the products but when I show up I never get greeted, they employees always look depressed and the manager has no idea what she’s doing, she also tried kicking me out at one point for no reason. I like the place but I feel someone higher up should consider make a few changes.

The Scout shop is a great place to shop for all things outdoor, AND uniforms and such. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

The customer service isn’t idle, they rarely give a greeting or even not on at all. The past few times I’ve noticed the staff is more interested in the electronics then the customers themselves. They also seem very rushed, you come in and they try to rush you out, no recommendations for what else to buy or no suggestions at all. The management is very poor, the manager rarely interacts with the customers. She threatened to throw a few of my friends out AFTER THEY BOUGHT SOMETHING but they wanted to continue looking around. Some of the product is nice but some is very over priced. I am a scout leader and at the SCOUT SHOP you would expect them to have some sort of discount for leaders but no, why go to a shop with over priced equipment with no scouter discount, Sail has scouter discounts so it’s a better bang for your buck I must say. Regardless of the discount the staff isn’t very friendly nor are they intrigued of who comes to the store.
