Incredible food and lovely staff! As a nutritionist, I can be quite picky on the ingredients for my meals - I must say that Essence uses quality and FRESH ingredients, and are tasty and delicious!We actually were all staying at Friday Harbour and decided to put in a large order for a wedding party on the day of the wedding - they got all the orders right (some modifications on some ) and were even able to walk it over to us at our air bnb!Thank you again :)

Very nice cashier. She was willing to explain any and all of the dishes listed on the menu, and the overall visit was very accommodating. She even complimented us with some free water :)As for the restaurant, it is well kept, the menu items are balanced and diverse considering they were vegan, and more importantly, they certainly tasted amazing. No doubt 5/5 stars.

I ordered memo savoury tacos and the wild rice avocado bowl! Everything is so well seasoned. The wait wasn't bad, about 15ish minutes and well worth it. The Young juice is extremely beet-y as expected but still good! I am definitely coming here whenever I'm in the area again. Love a good vegan spot! Highly highly recommend you try their food.

Had a nice lunch with the girls. I ordered the green falafel wrap and it was so fresh and delicious. The girls had one of the bowls with wild rice and mushrooms, amazing too. And for dessert tried the sweet potato brownie, so good! Would definitely go again!!

Ordered the green salad wrap and tropical sunrise smoothie via UberEats. The wrap has green collards, hummus, roasted beets, and alfalfa sprouts. The smoothie was really tasty made up of strawberries, pineapples, mangoes, passion fruit and a dash of coconut water!

Tried this place via Uber Eats. Well-packaged and my chocolate smoothie and avocado bowl were super delicious!! A bummer that I broke out into an allergic reaction (1st time in my life this has happened) that had my whole body burning and red, but I can’t fault the restaurant. Would order again and try other dishes.

Great smoothies and salads! I usually order the essence chop. Presentation is really pretty and colorful but most importantly it’s SO delicious. Their PB&Jam and Pick Me Up protein shakes are one of my favoirites! If you like nutty/ peanut butter flavours then these are the best to order. I’m not to sure how to spell her name but one of the ladies that works there ( Erenee/ Ayrine) is always so sweet, welcoming and knowledgeable about their food products. Thank you for a great experience !

It’s next to impossible to find good plant based food for take out. Found this place by fluke because Freshii was too far to drive for my lunch break at work. Googled vegan restaurants near me and took a chance. WOW. I had the sunrise scramble. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Very filling too. Their menu looks amazing and I want to try everything on it - problem is I’m so obsessed with the sunrise scramble I don’t want to miss it when we order from there! I mean look at the picture - drool!!

Food is delicious! My favourites are the vegan BLT and mushroom melt. Skin care products feel great for my skin. The body butter, candle and essential oil have beautiful fragrances. Ladan and the staff are absolutely wonderful and take care of their customers. Thank you guys.
