He did my roof 20 years ago. It still looks great. Also roofed and sided our garage! He just finished my neighbors huge roof on a 2+ story house. Crew was courteous and professional. Roof looks awesome. They did such a great job that our other neighbor hired him!

This guy is a total clown! Installed a roof starting leaking a year later. Called him said he would be out the same day. Never showed up or called!What a hack!

My roof developed a leak in April of 2021. I began searching for a contractor to fix the leak, but did not find a contractor who would even call me back, till I found Topside Roofing. Tony looked at our roof and told us that our roof was still in good enough condition that he could put a new metal roof over the existing 2 layers of shingle, he assured us that this would solve the leak, and he could have it completed before we travelled south for the winter.The metal roof was installed around the end of November or early December. In January we headed south thinking our problem was solved.When we returned in April 2022, we discovered that the roof was still leaking. I called Topside Roofing and he assured me he would come and fix it, but he never showed. I continued calling him and he continued telling me he would come and fix the problem. I called him every few days till the end of June when we gave up and started looking at other roofers trying to get the leak fixed.We have been told that the roof had been installed but corners were cut, and that this roof should not have been installed over a leaking roof without stripping the shingles and finding and fixing the leak.I want others to know that Topside Roofing in Algonac will eagerly install your roof, but getting them back to correct and problems seems like a long shot. We spent a lot of money to have a roof installed that we now have to get removed to fix the leak problem and have a new roof installed.I just want others to consider my story before they hire Topside Roofing.

He was perfect on collecting my money and then he won't return my calls.This will be ongoing.Let's just see!

Tony was quick to respond on a roof leak we had, got it patched up and good to go quickly and affordable. Definitely recommended if you need roofing work done!

Tony Menkel and his team did my Roofing in 2000 with no issues as of 2021and will be my go to company for my next replacement soon.
