I love this school! My daughter has completely come out of her shell and found her stride with Studio 9. They embrace everyone, loving and accepting each student. She used to dread school when she went to her previous elementary school but now she is excited every morning. There is so many extra activities at Studio 9 that embrace creativity encouraging all types of arts. Thank you Studio 9, moving my daughter to your school was the best decision I could have ever made for her.

I am so grateful we found a place where our daughter's creativity is nurtured. The smaller classroom size ensures that she gets the attention and support she needs to succeed, and the imaginative and flexible learning style keeps her engaged and invested. She tells us all the time that the only thing she doesn't like about school is that her day is over too fast!Studio 9 's inclusivity, zero tolerance for bullying, and celebration of each student's uniqueness has made school her safe place" (her words not mine). I am thankful everyday for the wonderful staff at Studio9!"

Our two children have been attending Studio9 since 2010. We have been extremely pleased with the school and the amazing, compassionate teachers and aides. They have always supported both of our children in many ways. My daughter just graduated a year early from the school as they were able to support her thru this early so she can carry on with her acting career in Vancouver. The teachers and management have always understood with an open door any concerns we have ever had and dealt with them appropriately. But most of all our children love Studio9, ask my daughter who just graduated and she will tell you she wouldn't choose any other school in Kelowna if she had to do it all over again. My son will be attending Studio9 again this year as we have no intention of going anywhere else in Kelowna. Thanks Studio9!!!

As a past student, I feel the need to write a review on a school that held an interesting part in a strange time in my life. This school was one of the best things that happened to me, but not because of the way the arts are used to teach core classes, or the emphasis put on fine arts, but rather the people who I attended with. The small class sizes allowed for more time that the teachers could support you, and the two teachers me and my classmates had for most of our time are both wonderful human beings. With this being said, I do think that this would occur at any small school, and is not exclusive to Studio 9, and this is the effect of learning in a small positive community. If your child is socially awkward, or has a bullying problem, and is around a grade 6 - 8 range, I would recommend this school to you, as it is a great opportunity for them to be able to push their comfort zones in a safe place, and not have to deal with judgement from their peers (at least, this was my experience); everyone knows everyone here.

This is the best place!! My child is in their first year and they have been welcomed with open and caring arms. With smaller class sizes and more diverse learning my child is able to get the attention and education she deserves. All of the children in the class get along so well! It's been comforting to have a school with a tried and tested approach to child development. <3

Our daughter joined Studio 9 last year (her grade 6) after attending a Montessori school on the coast. Our daughter reports feeling at home" at Studio 9! We have found that the teachers have been responsive to any concerns

Studio 9 is an amazing school. I have had two children in this school going into their 4th years now and they both LOVE it. My older child loves science and is going into grade 11 this year, He feels that his experience with the teachers and the quality of education he receives at Studio 9 is much better than his experience in public school. Even though he was apprehensive about the arts integration at first, he is totally fine with it now because he is getting his academic needs met, better than ever. My daughter is going into grade six and being an arts person by nature, she loves Studio 9. The teachers are caring, kind, considerate and take the time to build a connection with your child. The school has a 'family feel' and is very community oriented. If they have concerns about anything going on with your child emotionally or learning wise, they will tell you and proactively look for solutions with you. One of the things that I love about the school is that they do a camp in a nature setting at the beginning of the year, which helps the kids get connected to one another before the school year begins. The teachers are amazing and it is obvious that they are there because they have a passion for kids and for an arts inclusive education. When my kids were in public school, they came home with complaints far too often and always wanted to skip school and stay at home with me. Not since Studio 9. They now both love school. That's what we want right? We want are kids to be inspired to learn - and stay life long learners - not just make the grade and get out. They have high standards at Studio 9. The arts focus enhances the BC curriculum, and doesn't detract from it at all. They are equally serious about academics as they are of the arts. The kids are expected to show up, contribute and do their best.

My three kids have attended this school for the past three years (elementary, middle and high school grades) and have been given the incredible opportunity of attending a school which offers the most positive, uplifting and nurturing environment we have ever experienced. After just one trial day, the kids wanted to leave their public school immediately. The smaller class sizes, the teachers and staff that care so immensely for their students and having all the courses influenced with arts, has been the greatest experience I have been able to give my kids academically. They look forward to school EVERY DAY which was never the case in public school. They adore their teachers, they always feel welcome and safe, and they have developed various artistic skills that would not have been possible elsewhere. A school has kids, and kids will be kids, and the staff has always been excellent about keeping me informed and dealing with any social issues that have come up amongst my kids and their peers. They have also been excellent in supporting my kids in giving them the extra encouragement and extra help required for the subjects and skills they need it in. Thank you Studio9 for persevering to offer such a quality educational experience, everyones efforts are so warmly appreciated.

My three children attend Studio9 in grades 4 and 2 (twins). My kids are all neurodivergent and have thrived here. Everyone knows them and their strengths and challenges. It's like a little family where everyone knows and looks out for one another. In class, their teaching style is wonderful. They learn by doing and making amazing crafts and artwork and learn cooperation in group events like plays and dance productions. Sending our kids here has been the best decision we made as a family.
