St John the Evangelist Anglican Church

This is the church I go to whenever I am in Kitchener. Enjoy the community feeling this church has fostered.

I got married here in August and it was truly a wonderful experience. Both the pastoral and administrative staff were easy to contact and very personable. The Rector at the church married us and walked us through the whole process, making sure we knew when to get certificates from the city. He also made sure to explain the significance of the ceremony so that we could be present and calm on the day of our wedding.The music director learned a new song for the ceremony and was always available to discuss details. The evening of the rehearsal staff and volunteers from the church made sure everything was ready to go and organized.The church also provided livestreaming services so the whole ceremony could be witness by friends and family who couldn't come. Anyone who watched virtually said they hear and see everything!It was a really great experience and the church is beautiful!

You have your bells chiming with no apparent rhyme or reason. They have been going off for over 2 hours now. Ridiculous. By-law and non emergency police have been informed. The days of disturbing the peace are over

They helped my family out. Caring and compassionate, lending a helping hand.

Friendly place with ear to tradition and eye to the social and social justice needs of surrounding community. I believe we will make our home there.

City paid parking really. Have to pay to attend church service or meetings. Not cool.

Wonderful music from the Spiritus ensemble under Ken Hull. A fitting contemplation on peace during a war of aggression on the Ukraine. My heart was full. Each solo was wonderful and the duet between Elizabeth Lepock and Daniel Cabena heavenly.

Beautiful historic building filled with wonderful people. Great for events!!

The Reverend Parsons married my wife and I and it was a wonderful ceremony! He tailored his sermon to reflect the fact that I am a Chef in a very clever way. The Church is beautiful with gorgeous stained glass windows, and amazing hand built organ made by some of the original german settlers in Kitchener. A wonderful traditional church and the people who attend the church are all very lovely.

Had my income tax done there. Very kind people.
