Pet Feed Mill

A wonderful, independent store that carries top quality foods & accessories. I’ve been in the retail pet supply business for over 25 years and I was extremely impressed with the service I received. Both people I dealt with were very friendly & very knowledgeable and had no problem answering my questions. I’ve been in the other local chain stores in Owen Sound and didn’t receive 1/2 of the service that I did at Pet Feed Mill, nor could most of them answer my questions.If you haven’t shopped there, I highly recommend you do! Shop local!!!

Was in to buy some things yesterday and when I found my product I walked up to the counter where the lady was on the computer. She ignored me and another customer walked in she knew. She acknowledged the customer and told her what food she needed. She then told the customer to come on up she would ring in her through. And she did as I was still standing there!!!!!!!!!!! Also the customer had a cold and told them she was ill with one. She used the debit machine and then it was handed to me. There was no disinfecting after the last customer. i really needed the product so I used it. I have a heart issue and colds can make it very bad for me. The whole experience was rude. We have been loyal customers for many years and that snub was enough for me to leave as a customer!!!!!!!!! Marie & David Thomson. RESPONSE TO OWNER'S REPLY> Yes we are in your system .My husband usually went in for the food due to the weight of the bags being hard for me. We raised 3 Golden's and got all their food from you even BEFORE you moved to the spot your in now. I did NOT say the lady with the cold was COUGHING at all. She TOLD you she had a cold she could not seem to kick and was stuffed up with it. There was a younger lady there who saw you do it and never said anything just smiled at me as if to say sorry. It has been two years since my review went up and I have not been in since. I understand you may not have MEANT to do what you did but you did it. Calling you would not have made the issue not have happened.

My dog absolutely LOVES the diet dog food and the peanut butter cookies we get here (tiny bedtime snickity snack), the staff are so lovely and knowledgeable and helpful!

The Pet Feed Mill is the best place in Owen Sound that I have found to get my pet supplies. We have 3 cats and 2 dogs (well down to one dog now as our JR (14 years old) left us a month ago from a brain tumour) and I have always been able to find everything we need for them in this one store. The owner is a wonderful woman that offers excellent customer service and will order whatever your needs are if they are not in the store. We've been dealing with this business for quite a few years now and have nothing but praise for them. A very nice independently owned business that is very well run. Thank you to them.
