My partner treated me for my birthday to the bowl making class. We had such a great time and Layne runs such a beautiful, welcoming and creative studio. Your eyes will have a hard time focusing on your project with all of the beautiful pieces Layne has made surrounding you. Can’t wait to display my bowl, and I look forward to taking another class soon!

Had the pleasure of joining Layne for the last workshop of 2022. My partner and I visited as a (post) Christmas activity and had a wonderful time. Layne is a great teacher, personable, funny, and created a very relaxed environment where we could play with glass (safely of course).Learned a little how glass works, made some beautiful ornaments, and spent some quality time. Overall, a very nice memory.(Also, make sure to ask about the rubber duck collection)

It was my first time experimenting and learning all about fused glass and Oh boy! did I have a blast. A great way to learn the wonders of fused glass in a safe, creative environment. Layne is an amazing mentor. A patient soul full of new and interesting ideas. The studio itself is definitely worth a visit to see all the amazing art pieces on display. Be sure to ask him the story behind them.

My 5 year old granddaughter along with her parents and grandparents attended a glass class with Layne at the Verbeek Glass Studio recently. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and were very proud of the pieces that we created. Layne was very thorough with his instructions and very helpful to all of us. I would recommend giving this glass art a try or at least visit his studio to view his work and maybe make a few purchases. His work is outstanding!!

If you’re looking to explore a new art form or you just want to take quality time out for yourself , this is the place for you. Layne is a wonderful person to learn from. I took my 7 year old for a kids workshop and she told Layne she’s coming back. I can’t wait for my next workshop!I made first ever glass sculpture this month and I am quite proud of it...
