Great trail with kids., would recommend a insect repellent spray on. And definitely get an extra pair of in case getting into the water.! The stones are extremely slippery

This park looks great in dense trees and beautiful fall season. Flat area of 2km loop trail to walk with side trails by the river. Small parking space with more signs needed. Needs Plants and animals signs displays for the park. It has open area for family picnic but no benches

Great trail, went during April after having a fair amount of snow, so it was pretty quiet. Still some snow in parts of the trail. It can be muddy and there was some streams we had to cross because of large amounts of snow melting.

The trail along the creek was narrow (for one person) but easy to follow. Some sections were right on the edge of the creek so be careful. Wonderful views of the water for half of the loop. Trail was clear with about three small trees fallen over across the path but easily crossed over. Relatively flat trail. Very pleasant hike, relatively short about 3.4km. Totally enjoyed the hike!

Amazing little nook. Small parking lot at Reesor and Steeles. Good little trail, side trails connect to larger parts of Toronto trail systems. Quaint and never too busy.

Great place to go for a nice quiet walk with friends, kids, or a dog. Close to the city, and fairly well kept.A lot of people don't stay to the trail, but try your best to do so as going off the trail takes you into the nature reserve and areas where wild life should feel protected in.There appears to be plans to expand further and connect the trails together.

Serene Escape in the Heart of GTA!Rouge National Urban Park's Woodland Day Use Area is undeniably one of the best trails I have explored in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). From the moment I stepped foot on the trail, I was captivated by its serene beauty and peaceful ambiance. The park provides excellent amenities and facilities. The well-marked trails and informative signage ensure that you never lose your way and also offer fascinating insights into the area's history and ecology. The picnic areas and rest spots are strategically placed, allowing visitors to take a break and enjoy the stunning views.

Started from 19 Reesor Rd off Steeles, went south. At the end of the trail, took an off trail path, went under the railway bridge, further to the south along the creek. Returned when hitting the 3km mark. It was Sunday, it was getting busier when we completed the hiking at it about 11am. The off trail path along the creek was more sceneric.

This place is so cool for walking trails and just getting lost. Just be careful my dog got ticks from here. Make sure to check your self if in the area lots of deer. Love watching salmon swim up river. New is the wheelchair out house it just made me chuckle it is at the bottom of a hill on the grass. Not sure what was wrong with putting it near the parking lot.
