Grant Thornton Limited - Licensed Insolvency Trustees, Bankruptcy and Consumer Proposals

Everything is great until they get their fees, you receive your discharge and after waiting three years, they leave everything on your credit bureau. They’re not obligated! They are impossible to get a hold of once they’re done with you. My husband was told by them when he signed for consumer proposal, that once it’s paid and he’s discharged, after three years, they’ll remove it all from his credit bureau. Nope! We now have to pay someone to do it. Why go through it all so they can just drop you in the end? They tell you they’ll help you, help your debt and help get your credit back. Nope! Terrible! Shameful

My broker made a big show that my student loans were old enough to be covered and now since being discharged, I've had a couple closed accounts" show back up with collections and interest charges covering the 2 years

staff are friendly. Seemed to always have my best interest in mind. I dealt mostly with kaitlyn and I received excellent customer service. She was friendly. Checked in often and was a pleasure to deal with regarding my buisness with grant thornton. I also spoke with rob and he was equally friendly and helping with explaining documents and putting me at ease with chosing G.T.

Before I called Grant Thornton I had hit rock bottom and couldn't find a way out. Then I called and talked to someone who by the end of the phone call had taken a lot of pressure of my shoulders. I cannot find the right words to express my gratitude and satisfaction from Grant Thornton . I use to spend everyday stressed out to the point I’d be physically sick because of debt and the “ not so great “ financial decisions I have made.
