2023.04First of all, our server Mike deserves 5+ star. He was very professional, friendly and patient. He definitely was a huge plus for our wonderful experience here. Thank you Mike!Overall the food was good. Their bread was warm, fresh and delicious with the three cheese butter. For appetizer, we had tuna tartare, which was very tasty with wonderful presentation. Our rib steak was tender and juicy, just a little bit too salty for me. We also had vegetarian meatloaf, which had a lot of flavours although it was too salty for me. As this dinner was a birthday celebration for my friend and myself, we got Keg’s birthday treat, Billy Miner Pie, which absolutely deserves its fame.Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.

A great meal paired with some great service. They have awesome specials on drinks and apps at the bar on Friday nights. While we waited for a table we had a drink at the bar. We ordered the steak and snow crab meal. Everything was delicious and the snow crabs were fresh and flavorful.

It was a full house during my visit and understandably so! The steak was cooked to perfection - juicy, tender, and flavourful meat in every bite. Good service and a great place for your next celebration!

The food was good. Order the rack of lamb and it was a bit undercooked. But I'd prefer it under rather than over. It was very good.Good job on the server. She read the situation at the table very well and got everyone's food out in record timing. It was a busy night and I had heard the servers explain to the guests that the kitchen was busy, but our food still came very quick, most likely because the server is very good at her job. Kudos and thanks!

We went on mother's day. Our server poured the Sangria for us but wish she hadn't...as she spilled quite a lot of while she poured both our glasses. The baseball steak, which I always order, was slightly over cooked and the Cesar salad was very over-dressed for some reason. I usually have the best experience here, but this time it was so-so" perhaps because it was mother's dayA nice touch though

My daughters treated me to an early Mother’s Day dinner at the Keg on Upper James this past Friday. I wanted to thank our server, Robin, for a wonderful evening! He went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was fantastic! Almost immediately after ordering, one of my daughters had to leave unexpectedly. As Robin was bringing our drinks, she let him know that she had to leave, and cancelled her order. Robin ended up comping her drink and and salad. And at the end of dinner, brought us the famous Billy Miner pie for dessert! The food was cooked to perfection, and our service was exceptional! Thank you Robin, for for helping to make our evening even better!

We had a nice family dinner tonight. The atmosphere is great. It seemed fairly busy for 5 o’clock but we were seated promptly. The service by Rachel M. was excellent! Very friendly and professional. The food was delicious and came to the table in the right amount time. We didn’t feel rushed and we weren’t left waiting. Thanks to all the staff!

We have a wonderful dinner at the Keg recently. A 3 person walk-in on a Thursday, shortly after 5:00pm...and no wait. It got quite full while we were there.We enjoyed the crab and Sirloin features, prime rib and of course dessert ;). Billy Miner pie and lemon tarts...which I can't recommend too highlyThe service was excellent as we've come to expect and we will definitely return, at this or another location in the future. It's become a habit :D
