The best place to row possibly in Canada. Great connection with nature. Flat, calm water and an accurately measured 2km course with markers every 250 metres. Excellent coaching and great people to row with! (and it's dog friendly!)

Great place to learn to row recreationally or to train to race. The people are friendly and the water is beautiful.

Best rowing venue in the Province. The flat water, Incredible coaching, makes it the ideal venue to learn to row or develop advanced skills. It’s a beautiful place to row. Definitely my happy place

Learned to row here in high school and had a blast! Now I am currently rowing with the masters and have been able to improve my stroke. I am always excited to go rowing because of the coaches.

This beautiful lake is a nice quiet spot for learning how to row. There are rowing programs for high school kids and masters rowing. There is sculling and sweep rowing, plus you can learn how to row if you're new to the sport.

I’ve been rowing my entire life and have to say, this is one of the best places to practice the sport from beginners to advanced athletes. Beautiful, calm setting in a nature preserve. Gliding along with beavers in the water and eagles in the trees is wonderful. And nothing beats the sunrise and sunset rows with friends.

Stop looking you've found it. The best place to row in BC! I've rowed for decades now and moved to bc 5 years ago looking for a great club to join. I tried them all all of which have there own merits. But if you want:✅beautiful nature✅ glass like water✅ incredible sunrises✅fantastic coaches and people✅ The chance to row with ex Olympians and future Olympians and boat race winners.I have to say I have been lucky enough to be involved in it all at Burnaby lake. Well worth the drive from downtown Vancouver I personally used to bike which is bliss.

After graduating from the Learn to Row program last summer I was hooked on rowing and joined the club as a year round member. Rowing on Burnaby Lake is the perfect way to connect with oneself and nature. The coaching staff is awesome and there’s a very supportive club culture.
