Carluke Orchards

We went there to get some honey crisp apples however the price and quality was about same as our local supermarket. They have a good bakery and their blueberry scone and butter tarts were good. They also have high quality jams and honey.

Had a great time picking delicious apples with the family. I appreciate the signs at each row that let you know what the type was best for (eating/cooking/sauces). Absolutely delicious treats at the store, I ate a few too many pecan butter tarts but it was worth it. Looking forward to returning!

I order two pies for Mother’s Day . One coconut cream and lemon meringue. The coconut cream was not coconut cream it was banana the lemon meringue crust was not cooked. So I call the manager and she told we she would give me a credit for two pies. Which I thought was very fair. So this weekend I drove to carluke to get my two pies . When I got there I told the sale person I had a credit for two pies. She ask me for my phone number she said there is nothing there . She told me she was going to call Cathy . The sale person yelled out to what was the trouble with the pies so I told her. Not very customer friendly to be 10feet away from and ask . There were customer in the store. The sale person came back and said you are only get one credit for a pie. I guess you lost a customer . When you told you are going to get a credit for two and only get one .Not very good customer service.

Went for PYO apples, no one at the stand since we went during the week. You can purchase a bag inside the store. They sell frozen pies (meat and fruit) and baked goods. Update: end of September, not too many apples left so you need to work for the ones you want!

This is our go to Apple picking. The variety of apples is very large. They also have pick your own pumpkins. They do Tractor rides. Great setups to take family photos. There is also a park and a shop full of goodies suck as pies, cookies, apple cider, maple syrup and alots more. I can leave with out a apple cider and caramel stick!

This is the best bakery in Ancaster. I’d HIGHLY recommend their lemon meringue. Amazing customer service too!!!!

Pies are not worth the price. Very disappointed in the coconut cream and the key lime pies. The pastry is very dry. The topping is cool whip. The key lime pie filling was made with lime jello and was lumpy. Please take the pies up a notch for the price and buy some real key lime juice. The butter tarts are a much better choice!

Pick your own apples and pumpkins, store bought apples don't compare. The store has the best apple pie I have ever tasted and a whole bunch of other things that are to die for, too. The store is open all year long except for the month of January.

My entire family loves the pecan and pumpkin pie. However, I'm glad that I got a chance to taste these pies and experience Carluke Orchards. Because I will never go again. Granted, their pies are good...but, not amazing. They are definitely not worth the $18 price tag either. I wouldn't line up to purchase these pies.

Great little orchard with a good variety of apples. It can get busy – there was a lineup at the store at 10 am on Saturday – but if you go early you can skip all that. The staff are friendly and the apples are yummy.
