Not impressed with take out. I had dined in before and the bulgogi was amazing. I ordered today for takeout and when I got home there was barely any meat, only vegetables. For $20 you’d expect more, especially when I didn’t have this problem dining in…

I’ve been to the owl in Oakville before and didn’t love it, but this one was amazing. I tried the kamjatang and a sip of kimchi jjiggae. Kamjatang was great, tons of nice meat on those vertebrae. Kimchi jjigae was good too. A little expensive for what it is, but good no doubt. Some more varied banchan would be nice.

Delicious food and extra special/tasty kimchi! Every menu items we tried today were fantastic. The staff was also very kind. I really enjoyed eating dinner here today~ I had to order some extra takeout kimchi to enjoy later! If you are looking for authentic Korean food, you must try this place!

Amazing and above and beyond customer services from the staff. Everyone should get a raise there. Food was delicious like all Owl places. I will definitely come back when I crave Korean food. Thank you for your services!

I really like this place but I’m not sure how they do their take out portions. I felt ripped off because I order beef but I probably only got 5 pieces…the rest was noodles.

After I had finished a meal , I had asked to pay with credit card. I had already told them that I was going to pay the tip by cash. With that said, the worker asked me how come you're not adding a tip". Once i heard that

Wouldn't miss it for the world! Glad that a new location opened for Own of Minerva despite the pandemic. Always loved korean food and this restaurant always hit the spot for your cravings. The place is clean and have friendly staff. The food is just as amazing! Highly recommend! A pork bone soup that warms the soul, all for a low price.My brother has always gone to the various Owl of Minerva restaurants across the GTA but I never had the chance to go. Finally, today my girlfriend and I had the chance to stop by and were more than pleased with our selection.The restaurant is quite small and has a slightly weird location. If does not seem like it, but there is parking on the opposite side of the building that is pictured on google maps. The employees speak both English and Korean and are very courteous. The food took little to no time to reach our table after ordering and was piping hot in a stone pot.We decided to order two servings of the Gamjatang (Pork Bone Soup), a dish my girlfriend, who is Korean, often craves and is vocal when a restaurant does not make it good. The soup itself was flavourful, and the meat was plentiful and tender. The dish comes with a bowl of rice, but any additional bowl will cost you $2.50 at the time of writing. Side dishes do also come with the dish but we felt that these were pretty lacklustre, but the gamjatang did not need them so no need to factor that into the review.Overall, the Owl of Minerva offers great and reasonably priced Korean cuisine that leaves you full and your body warm, all with fast and good service to boot.
