Great staff, they also give us full informed consent about procedures.

I will start with the positives for kinsol vet, that being said I have left some appointments unsatisfied with their service. Kinsol vet provides good communication through emailing you dates/time/information about your appointments as well as calling you for reminders and confirmation close to your appointment dates. The vet handled my pet with care and patience and was very gentle which is the most important to me.The staff and customer service in person can be worked on. I often leave kinsol vet feeling judged and pushed to buy unnecessary products. The staff has made me feel like I am a burden and my appointments with the vet have been very rushed as well as 20 -30 minutes late each appointment which can be understandable to an extent but this has happened with each visit. information is often glossed over and thrown at me very fast leaving little time for follow up questions before the vet is walking out the door and sending me out for payment. The lady’s at the front desk have a similar approach as the vet and give very passive aggressive answers to questions.Each appointment costs 112$ on top of what u are going for no matter how fast the check up is. My last check up consisted of my pet being weighed and a failed attempt at getting their temperature and it lasted less than 10 minutes. Usually I would not complain about cost but the way I was met with unfriendly customer service made the appointment feel not worth it. a previous response to a review on here noting the same issue as mine was told that this is untrue and their costs are “substantially under” 100$ for short check up visits which has not been the case for me and shows me that pricing needs to be more upfront for the customers to review.My biggest complained is the negative energy I was met with. I am an understanding person and know everyone has busy/stressful days but this is a reoccurring issue when I come in. I got a great recommendation from a co worker to come to kinsol vet but I now feel I am not getting the same friendly ness and respect as other customers and I am not sure why. All customers should be met with the same standard of service regardless of age, appearance etc.I would like to continue going to kinsol vet and I hope my issues can be taken as constructive criticism for future reference

Can't say enough amazing things about this clinic and staff . I've used them for all 4 of my animals , and have dealt with them extensively recently with one of my sick kitty's. They have been amazing with all of the animals and even with me the overworried anxious animal mom. They have really gone above and beyond and making sure that my animals are comfortable safe and well cared for . They explain things throughly and respond quickly when clarification is required, they have inspired me to learn more about veterinary care and medicine and there are not enough thank yous in the world to show my gratitude for the kinsol team and doctors . The front end staff is always quick to help and respond , the techs are knowledageable and so helpful and sweet, I have no worries when I leave my boys with them , the doctors are amazing to deal with, take concerns seriously and listen when you tell them something isn't right with your animals and get to the bottom of it, Thank you so much kinsol team, my kitty's and family are so grateful to have you as their medical team ❤️

Excellent clinic with friendly staff. We have gone to Kinsol a few times now for some ongoing issues with our dog and we have always found all the staff to be friendly and extremely helpful, the doctors have always been patient, and explain things, I have never felt rushed and always feel they take the time necessary to examine an animal. One of the best clinics around.

We’ve been bringing our golden boy, Blue, to Shawnigan Lake Veterinary Wellness Practice since April 2019. The front desk staff are very friendly (Mary has Blue’s brother, Ajax, which always makes for a fun visit!) and our experience has been nothing short of exemplary. Blue has been in to see both Dr. Phipps and Dr. Skelton on a few occasions; for his vaccinations and general checkup and also most recently for a very upset stomach accompanied with a lethargic demeanour. They have been so good with our dog, take time to answer our questions, and are caring and thoughtful in their approach. Blue is doing better than ever and he gives two paws way up for excellent doggie bedside manner!

The team is incredible here, Ineke, Georgina and Mary have been wonderful in looking after our little fur family.

Absolute thieves! Charged us 1300 dollars to pull a puppy tooth and quoted 1500 dollars for a spay. We called other vets in town and they were quoting a quarter of the price!!!! Absolutely DO NOT go here!!!!

Karena and her team are who you want to be there when your pet needs help, they are all truly one of a kind. Couldn’t be more thankful that they are were there when my Quin needed them, I have a happy, healthy pup thanks to them!! Thank you all!!

Our dog received excellent care once again and is feeling much better. They are quick to suggest tests which can increase the bill significantly. Ask questions, I received honest answers on why certain tests were recommended and what other options were available.
