Makoi Belen is an amazing photographer! We had so much fun with our session. He was so easy to work with, made us feel comfortable and natural, and had us smiling the entire time. He has a great passion for photography. The photos were absolutely stunning, and he got them back to us sooner than expected. I would not hesitate to hire Makoi Belen for any photo needs!

Highly recommend Makoi!! We had him shoot our wedding and we were so happy with all the beautiful photos we received. He was so wonderful to work with and captured our big day perfectly! We received the photos back quickly and we continue to receive so many compliments 3 years later. You won’t be disappointed!!

Makoi was the best photographer we could have asked for! He was professional and also very good at making us feel comfortable around the camera. He is clearly knowledgeable about shooting photos in the wide variety of conditions throughout our wedding day (everything from low light for our indoor reception to bright afternoon sunlight on fresh white snow), since all of our pictures turned out amazing! His attention to detail was one of the reasons we chose him as our photographer, and he did not disappoint. Lots of great photos of the rings, reception decorations, dress details, etc. We can't recommend Makoi enough for weddings, engagement photoshoots, or anything else!

Makoi was phenomenal. My partner and I both were immediately impressed by how friendly and enthusiastic he was. He had a vision and knew what he was doing and how to capture the best angles and lighting. He was really excited about getting awesome shots, which is great because we were too! He was professional and knowledgable and was able to offer advice. Our engagement photos were beautiful and we were so happy with how he captured the colours. We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos, but also my wedding party and guests commented how great he was at getting shots and being friendly. His second shooter, Robin, was also extremely friendly and equally enthusiastic about getting great shots. I have never had my ego boosted as much as when I they were taking our photos! We were so happy with our wedding photos and got tons of great captures to choose from. I highly recommend Makoi for any photo needs, from casual family photos all the way to formal wedding photos. We have absolutely no regrets.

Makoi was an absolute dream to work with. Not only did he capture our day beautifully, focusing on aspect that we’re important to us but he also was willing to help throughout the very stressful planning phase. He definitely went above and beyond to make our dreams come true! For those who are a bit more shy around cameras like myself, he makes you feel confident and at ease. I am very thankful we got the chance to work with him again and that he was able to perfectly capture our day! As an added bonus his turn around time was efficient and he gives you sneak peaks beforehand so you’re not waiting months for some photos to post! Highly recommend him for any occasion but especially weddings!

Makoi captured every important moment on our wedding day! We have found a photographer that is very passionate about his job, takes good care about his clients, and we couldn’t be any happier seeing all the pictures he took from our special day. He made us all feel very comfortable and he made sure that we didn’t miss meaningful opportunities to take pictures with our families and friends. He was amazing from the start… From our engagement shoot, to the getting ready part on our wedding day, to the ceremony, then reception, and till the end!!! You can see all the skills and details to each picture and he knows exactly what he is doing. Makoi definitely exceeded our expectations! “Post event”, we are very convinced that photos were the best investment and we are very thankful that we hired Makoi!! ☺️

We had both our engagement photos and wedding photos done with Makoi and are very happy with everything. He made everything fun and comfortable, which was important to us, as we generally don’t love getting photos done. The end result was very beautiful. I’m sure we will seek him out for any future life events.
