Lakeland Childcare

Lakeland Daycare has been excellent for my son. He comes home everyday happy and always singing! Communication has been amazing if you text, call or email you get a quick reply back! You also talk with ethier the director or care provider to go over your child's day. We've enjoyed the meal plans as well, very diverse and nutritional. Overall it's been a great experience so far!

Lakeland Childcare is a wonderful childcare centre. They were so accommodating about the days and times when we initially registered. My 3.5y old and 20-month old love going to this childcare centre. The girls keep busy with all of the indoor and outdoor activities that they offer (plenty of crafts, learning and outdoor time). They also enjoy all of the meals. Shafana and her staff are nurturing and communicative, and we never feel rushed at the door upon drop off or pick up. I highly recommend this childcare centre. 5 stars!

When I was looking for care for my twins I wanted something that felt like home- that's when I was introduced to Lakeland Childcare. The staff are phenomenal! Always have detailed updates about my children's day and provide me with any feedback that could be useful for me. My girls were very attached to me when they first started care here and were nervous but now they run into the building and always ask to go to school. They are also more vocal and independent than ever before. Cannot recommend this place enough. The owners both are very meticulous and caring individuals. Lakeland Childcare thank you for taking care of my girls and enabling us to reach multiple milestones!!

Highly recommend for new mums sending their children to daycare for the first time, or a mum looking for a highly rated daycare that offers top quality childcare.I've been sending my children to lakeland since 2021. My second son that's currently enrolled 5 months ago, and my first son was there but has now started school. I would highly recommend this daycare centre to any mum out there who is sending their children to a daycare centre for the first time.The amount of attention, care and education the teachers provide here are top notch. I love receiving weekly mean plans, and daily report cards, and having access to an app to see what my child is up to.My reason for 10 stars is:1. Communication & Transparency2. Respectful and caring teachers3. Cleanliness and Professionalism4. The commitment to our children.

The worst customer service you will ever experience!!! We went for a tour on Tuesday, February 7th, as we were offered a spot for our child from the waitlist. We met with what I assume is a Manager or Director named Shivana (excuse my spelling). She seemed kind and informative during the tour and the space was average. Nothing special, but nothing wrong either.When the tour was completed we informed Shivana that we would be in touch in the morning to finalize the spot, which she agreed to. She made no mention of needing to secure the spot at that moment and she new this was our first child and that we had never been through this process. Needless to say, when we replied on Wednesday late morning confirming the spot, she did not respond that day, which we found odd. She reached out by email on Thursday afternoon by email informing us that she gave our spot away to someone else. When we were upset and displayed our frustration at what transpired, she was rude and blamed my wife and I over the phone and as well as in her tasteless communication via email. Shivana provides terrible customer service and If you don't believe me, just read the replies she provided to all of the negative reviews she has received on Google. And mark my words, she will respond to this in a poor manner as well. She takes no responsibility for the poor service and lackluster daycare she oversees, instead choosing to blame the parents or their kids for any issues that arise. And because there is a backlog in daycares and long waitlists at every facility, desperate parents fill this sorry excuse for a daycare with their kids and let terrible leaders like Shivana teach their poor kids.I would never my leave my child here after this experience. My advice, place yourself on waitlists early so you don't have to be desperate to take your child to places like this. By far the worst customer service experience I have ever received in my 36 years of life.I don't even care what you reply to this, no sorry will ever excuse your service (not that you will provide one since you never own up to your poor service) and I sincerely hope that people do read these negative reviews and actually take the hint that this place might actually be as terrible as the one stars indicate.

Thank God I found this place, teachers are very loving and caring and they genuinely love kids. I leave my 3 yo peacefully and know they will care for him. Teacher here seriously go above and beyond for e.g. on fussy days they'll feed the kids by hands and change the clothes or diaper using stuff available at daycare incase parents forget. Super caring and what a lovely daycare! We are so happy we found Lakeland! Cant forget good management and tone at top!

I started sending my daughter her last summer and it has been the best decision! The staff at Lakeland has gone out of their way to help her adjust, helped her socialize with her peers and made sure the children are positively encouraged to learn and grow. I've been noticing such a positive change in my child ever since she started preschool here. She comes home with new learnings everyday, keeps saying how much fun she has and adores all her teachers!I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else to look after and support learning for my child, other than Lakeland. I'm so glad we found a spot when we did!

Lakeland Daycare is a great place for toddlers to explore, learn and play! The educators and staff are very warm and welcoming. Shafana who runs the place is extremely accommodating and makes sure to cater to each child’s needs. My son went to Lakeland for 2 months before he started JK and he had a fun time and was sad to be leaving his teachers and Ms. Shafana ( as he would say it). Highly recommend this daycare if you’re looking to enroll your toddlers for some great environment!

Our daughter had her best time in Lakeland child care. She has been such a happy child, thriving and progressing well in the good and attentive care of all the teachers and staff.Initially our daughter had faced some speech delay but after she started going to Lakeland, her interactions and vocabulary started to build up so fast and we cannot be more happy for her.I am forever greatful and thankful to the Lakeland family for their great work.
