Bee Furniture

I rode up to Nanaimo to visit Mark and see this very cool operation first hand. He is masterfully patient and skilled with his bees, nurturing them with the most respectful, natural techniques. He also took the time to teach me all about how the process works, and was very tuned in to the personality and nature of the bees. I was lucky enough to take home a jar of his incredible dark honey too - wohooo....that is the most amazing honey I have ever tasted! THANK YOU Mark for all the time and the fun!!

This is what my 500$ Bee Furnature boxes looked like within 5 months of purchase and 3 months of that was spring and summer......I then sent Mark these photos and asked how he considers his product superior if this happens within a few months and his reply was Maybe if you aren't so confrontational it will get you better results in the future." ...I feel very unsatisfied as a costumer. He didnt offer to fix or repair. He didnt offer to do anything! All he said is that I could try scrubbing it down or sanding and re-oil...At no point was it expressed that if I go for the more natural finish then its going to be A LOT of maintanence and up-keep. On the day I picked up my boxes he mentioned "At some poit you will need to re-apply the tung oil." That in NO WAY stressed the amount of work it would take to keep the boxes looking good. On his Website it reads word for word "All products are ready for you to take home and use immediately - no further assembly or finishing is required! " Which is mis-eading and not true. Also it says "You can rest assured that not only does your new Bee Furniture look great
