Great location, great food and great beer. We were a little disappointed that the food was served on disposable plates with plastic cutlery. It cheapened the meal unnecessarily.

Great scene and beer, but the food is garbage, or close to garbage — and $$$. For the two orders of fish and chips, it was hard to tell where the food ended and the soggy paper plate began - a soggy tasteless mess. The nachos were mouth-puckering covered with a triple-sour trifecta of feta, pickles, and barbecue sauce — a terrible combination. The burrito bowl was the only edible dish, although the way it was served (paper bowl) had nothing to do with a burrito. I’d go again for the beer and scene though, but will certainly pass on the food.

The environment and atmosphere is excellent.We have waited 45 mins for 2 dishes in a Wednesday afternoon.The price is reasonable and taste is fine.The burger is over cooked and fried fish is not crispy, as well as the food are cool, not even warm.

Go for the beer and ambiance. Stay away from the food. They will tell you that it's a half hour wait but its going to be an hour (for a salad and a sandwich)....they will give you cold food that doesn't even match the menu description. The crispy chicken sandwich made of pulled chicken was actually just cubed chicken formed together with melted cheese. Nothing crispy. Nothing pulled. And so bland....and cold...the staff will blame you for ordering during dinner time. Can't make this stuff up. Beer was great and staff in the brewery were fantastic.

I really like 540 downtown but the food at the Picroons location is at best occasionally passable but usually much, much worse.Wandering around on Friday with out-of-town family, we stopped in for a drink and they decided they wanted something to eat. I was hesitant to order there again but thought I'd give it another try. That turned out to be an embarrassing mistake. The low quality of the food has been the running joke for the rest of the weekend.

Food here was great! Had the chorizo & drimp taco, and the burrito bowl - both great options on a summer day outside. You get a buzzer to indicate your food is ready for pickup - takes about 15min, depending on the time of day.

Summer experience here is good!Very freeflow experience, walk over to the bar and get a drink or get some food.Buzzer/pager system works well so you can wait at your table until food is ready. Approximately 25min for us.Sitting on the roomy park/patio in good weather is the core of the experience.If I had to sit inside I would have been disappointed!

I ordered from here on skip the dishes for the first time and it was amazing. The chili cheese fries are so good and the north burger is my new favourite!! Will definitely have again
